Multi-User support for PLUS subscription
I have a PLUS subscription with a custom domain for my 5 family members. I would like them to gain access to their email separately, but from what I understand this requires a visionary subscription. I would like to have this feature included in the PLUS subscription for up to 5 users (same number of users as email addresses).
In 3.10 release (https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-v3-10-release-notes/), we released Professional Accounts which allow a user to setup the exact number of users they need.
You can learn about all of our accounts here: https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/paid-plans/.

When we looked at the features of the plus subscription it states that it includes up to 5 email aliases. With the visionary subscription it says up to 50 email aliases are included. The description of this feature in both the Plus and the Visionary plans is identical. Way than are we unable to have 5 separate email addresses? Please explain how we can configure our email addresses as stated in the plus plan features.

I had hopped that when I have upgraded to the Plus subscription with these "5 aliases"... Now I don't want to pay for this service anymore.

ProtonMail could be such a great thing and a replacement for my current setup. Currently, I have a hosted domain name where I can create any number of users with separate email accounts. I can also have as many forwarded addresses as I like going to anywhere I like as well as a catch-all address. I use throw-away addresses for any logins I need and a password manger for all those login/password combos. The volume of email is low as it is for a family and not a business, and I don't really need the website hosting facility.
While the visionary plan could allow those extra users, it is both much more expensive and less comprehensive than my current set-up. The plus plan has allowed me to check out the VPN: I like it! But it sounds like the features I really use from my current set-up will not be present anytime soon, if at all, and I can't make the switch for my domain.

As you can read here: https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-v3-8-release-notes/ (topmost comment) there won't be any separate accounts under a PLUS subscription. All families will need to buy the future professional plans, which are ridiculously expensive:
"Professional plans will be priced at $8/month per account and you can add as many accounts as you want. So for 2 people, two professional accounts would be $16. For 3-5 users, the Visionary plan is the best deal because that is fixed at $24/month." (Admin)
That's 192$/year for two people and 288$/year for three and more people. So please back this feature request!

Agreed. This is the main thing holding me back from bringing my family over from Gmail. We don't need ten aliases per person, but we do need about 12 people - 12 individual users with one email each.
I understand that ProtonMail is aimed more at power users with lots of domains, but there are plenty of small businesses and families that are willing to pay for this service on a custom domain with no aliases, less storage, and multiple users.

I also subscribed PLUS and was waiting for this feature. Now I'm very disappointed to see only for VISIONARY. I' don't need 20GB storage, I don't need unlimited sending mail and everything but simple 2 separate PLUS accounts with the same custom domain. I paid 96 CHF and not 288. I now thinking about to change back to other mail system. :-(

Dear Proton Team - the comments in the forum that Gjermund posted pretty much says it all. Many and dare I say most of your PLUS users bought into the ProtonMail PLUS system because we were under the assumption that the aliases would be treated almost as separate accounts. I wanted it for my family members. I had even entered a support ticket at the time and was promised informed that mult-user support was coming. They did not say only for Visionary users.
In any event, I still want to buy more into the system and am willing to pay more, but the price jump to visionary is simply too much...WAY too much for my budget. Can you consider offering multi-user support with same storage allocation for the entire set? Is there anything you can do to offer Multi-User support to your other loyal customers? Will you consider bundling packages such as PLUS+Multi-User+ProtonVPN in an attractive price and you'll get even more paying customers!...just some thoughts

Would like to hear from the proton mail team on this. Doesn't seem fair that I could buy several plus accounts for the price of a visionary account. Thank you!

I found this topic in another feedback https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/12484953-multiple-accounts-for-same-custom-domain.
The issue is really pricing. Please include this feature in the PLUS subscription.
