ProtonMail Bridge for Linux
I don't have a Windows or OSX machine, so ProtonMail Bridge doesn't appear to be an option for me. Is there any way Bridge for Linux could happen? The site says it's coming soon, but when is soon?
We are happy to announce that ProtonMail Bridge for Linux is now available in closed Beta for all paid users. Please email us at bridge@protonmail.ch for an invite.

I'm going to add my comment to the mix; I've been planning on upgrading for a few months now, assuming that Bridge was already available for Linux as Linux is more known for being private than Windows or Mac. I, as many others, will upgrade to Pro once Bridge for Linux is released. I am incredibly disappointed that it hasn't been released already.

I'll also become a paid user once ProtonMail Bridge is available for Linux.

As soon as Bridge for Linux is out, I'll join as a paying customer at the Pro level. I've been looking forward to switching to ProtonMail for a while now, but the inability to migrate my existing e-mail from G-Suite has always been a stumbling block.

Yes! Most/many of us must be using Linux, I presume. Much needed!

Became paying customer yesterday thinking that the Bridge for Linux was already available--the Bridge for Linux is what I thought I was paying for. Please make it happen soon.
P.S. Fingers crossed that it works with Evolution.

Doesn't work under wine, I tried. And yes, make it geek-friendly, with GUI optional, just a nice background, cli-configurable process with an optional tray icon GUI for those who prefer.

I wonder if anyone has got this working under wine?

They said it will be out in early 2018. But yes, most ProtonMail users are probably Linux users so they should have made the Linux one first.

Bridge for Unix +100
I thought this already was a thing, I was about to scoop it up after I read this I got sad, Like he said, the people who really want this for legit reasons are most likely not Windows users, I mean I can't say Windows 10 and privacy in the same sentence without chuckling. -

Hi, subscribed for protonmail yesterday. I guess it was my mistake to subscribe seeing the description which says bridge is available for Windows, Mac AND LINUX. I scroll down to see "Coming soon" only after I made the purchase and went ahead to setup the bridge.
I think most of the users who are concerned about security and privacy use Linux, not windows. So kindly prioritize "Bridge for Linux"
