Integrate Calendar on Mobile etc
Love that you guys created an encrypted Calendar - but what's the point of it if the only way to use it is to log in on the PM web version? There is no sync, no push notifications, and worst of all it's not available on mobile.
I think most of us use calendars on our mobile devices.
So PCalendar should either have a standalone app, or at the very least be integrated into the PMail app.
Better yet, is there any way to integrate/sync calendar data into a device's other third party calendar app?
For example, I've been using Fruux to keep my contacts and calendars in sync on multiple devices. I can add a calendar event in, say, Android's native calendar app, then it'll sync up with Fruux, and push that event on to ALL my other calendar apps (Fantastical on iOS, Thunderbird's calendar plugin, etc etc etc).

Yes! I LOVE and am heavily dependent on Fantastical and can't walk away from it. I would love to be able to put all my info in only ProtonCalendar and use with Fantastical.

Any update on this one? Would really round out the Proton mail/calendar lineup. Proton Drive and Proton Phone OS ideas sounds really awesome too. Thank you guys!

I tried to use the protonmail calendar but it's a pain in the ass to be efficient with it. No calendar should be only based on an internet version.
Pronton calendar NEED an integrated mobile app allowing for push notification and quick consultation of the calendar....

I believe that Proton Mail should bring a calendar to its mobile app as well.
But I would not suggest sync feature with other calendar apps.
Syncing the calendar with other apps would make PM lose its encryption feature.
As long as they provide all the calendar features needed in a regular Calendar app they need not bring in the sync feature. -

I need the calendar on Android and I need the calendar app to send notifications to my email.
At least, have the ability to have an event with an email notification.
Right now, this works in a vacuum.

@commenters --- umm the point of it, is to make you NOT THE PRODUCT, instead the point is to give you a solution to be a human being online where what's in your head, stays private in your head. Or in this case, on the ProtonCalender.
Please take a moment and think about it, this revolutionary, this is cutting edge for consumers in way, to take back control from the corporate pigs who see you as a number and nothing more.
They have massive teams dedicated to all this with huge funding from YOUR thoughts and everything you do on these free services, etc..
Proton is small and focused on you, the user, to have control of your data...
App's will come soon probably, or eventually, but in phases, like everything else good in this life, it takes time to make something of quality and unique.Just my two cents.

I would prefer a clean break from a stock calendar app and use a dedicated ProtonCalendar mobile app. I also do not want it to be part of the ProtonMail app because I want two different apps for two different tasks. The app should be Free/Open Source Software and a version should be published on F-Droid for users not using Google Play services.

It would be handy if the email and calendar would open via a separate app. E.g. one can simulate having both email (on one screen) and calendar (on the other screen) open by opening protonmail twice but that is a bit cumbersome

I agree, without the ability to schedule and get notifications on my phone, the calender (web-based only) is useless. Please get app version ASAP

Agreed. I switched to the beta site to see the calendar and immediately came here after discovering there is no way to use it on my mobile.

i agree with you, i see no point to use the webmail calendar at the moment
it's in beta, but i can only really test and use it if it's also available on mobileProtonMail is working on bring calendar to mobile, though:
