Integrate Calendar on Mobile etc
Love that you guys created an encrypted Calendar - but what's the point of it if the only way to use it is to log in on the PM web version? There is no sync, no push notifications, and worst of all it's not available on mobile.
I think most of us use calendars on our mobile devices.
So PCalendar should either have a standalone app, or at the very least be integrated into the PMail app.
Better yet, is there any way to integrate/sync calendar data into a device's other third party calendar app?
For example, I've been using Fruux to keep my contacts and calendars in sync on multiple devices. I can add a calendar event in, say, Android's native calendar app, then it'll sync up with Fruux, and push that event on to ALL my other calendar apps (Fantastical on iOS, Thunderbird's calendar plugin, etc etc etc).
Thank you

I Agree, pretty worthless without mobile/sync solutions...

I am very much looking forward when we will be able to sync our calendars with Bridge to any calendar on laptops and phones! Otherwise this feature https://eurot20-slam.com/ is pretty useless if I can only access through my internet browser! Thank you so much for your work.

Couldn't agree more... Calendar function is critical to operating both personally and professionally. Having it available on a mobile device is paramount! It should sync devices, it should be available in all operating platforms (iOS, Android, Windows...).
Also having the ability to invite people to an event/meeting is basic and critical. I am anxiously awaiting when PCalendar is available on all my devices as not only an App, but also integrated into ProtonMail.

An encrypted calendar is great, but very clumsy to use on a smartphone. The ability to sync with an android calendar app would make Proton Calendar much more appealing.

I am an admin at a private school. I have my private calendar, my personal work-related calendar, our staff work calendar (unfortunately, Google), and our public calendar (also a Google calendar 😕 ). I need to be able to view all easily, preferably in a single application, whether I'm on my laptop or on my android phone. Being able to subscribe to proton's calendar via CalDAV/iCal (read/write) would be ideal, as I could quickly see all my events in a single calendar and avoid double-scheduling myself, etc. If this is possible without sacrificing privacy, please do so! Thanks.

Since we all seem to want an encrypted calendar, where can we volunteer some dev time to contribute to this project? What's the roadmap look like?
Haz dev skills, will code.

I'd go a little bit further on this. Along with a standalone app, it would be nice to have a widget related to. So that in one glance, we can see our plannings, and add some more...

A secure calendar is definitely a good idea, but the current version is not fit for business. I need CalDAV access to it in order to integrate the calendar in macOS and iOS Mail apps.

This is a great idea. My wife and I share a calendar so that we don't accidently double book a day and time. We use our mobile devices for this sychronization. It would be best if the calendar were available through the protonmail app on my phone.

This is an important need before being able to really use Proton Calendar.

Yes! I LOVE and am heavily dependent on Fantastical and can't walk away from it. I would love to be able to put all my info in only ProtonCalendar and use with Fantastical.

Any update on this one? Would really round out the Proton mail/calendar lineup. Proton Drive and Proton Phone OS ideas sounds really awesome too. Thank you guys!

If I could get calendar to sync with third party apps on mobile (and desktop) this would be the most ideal

I tried to use the protonmail calendar but it's a pain in the ass to be efficient with it. No calendar should be only based on an internet version.
Pronton calendar NEED an integrated mobile app allowing for push notification and quick consultation of the calendar....

I believe that Proton Mail should bring a calendar to its mobile app as well.
But I would not suggest sync feature with other calendar apps.
Syncing the calendar with other apps would make PM lose its encryption feature.
As long as they provide all the calendar features needed in a regular Calendar app they need not bring in the sync feature.
