Folders and Subfolders creation for clean organization
We need folders and subfolders IMAP capabilities
Without folders organization the mailbox is unmanageable

I agree completely - I like to set folders up for people/conversations so that I can always find historical emails, and keep related emails together.
At first I thought the 'label' feature was doing this, but when I emptied the 'trash', it deleted all the emails I had put into each individual label I had created - now all my email records are gone - and they were important.

While labels are useful, they are not folders. It would be helpful to have the choice between folders and labels (I'd prefer folders, and do not need labels).

Thank you but it's not enough. Labels without automatic filters is useless. I receive 50 mail by days i can't organize by hand.
We need automatic filters, labels are very useless without filters

Please consider including a Move to: button, maybe even instead of one-click Archive or Trash buttons. In the current state, if you accidentally archive or delete a sent email, you can bring it back to the Archive or Inbox, but not to the Sent folder. A Move to: button would be more flexible.

Labels are fantastic, and I can't wait until there's some sort of rule capability to automatically assign labels. For those of you who would rather use folders than labels, could you give details on what you can do with folders that you can't with labels? To me, they're each metadata that gives organization to individual emails, with the difference being you can't assign the same folder to one email, but you can with a label.

Not sure why this request for "folders and sub-folders" is considered Started. Yes, labels/tags is "a" way to organize email but it is NOT the same thing as folders. There are other requests that specifically ask for labels or tags and with way less votes than this request for folders I may add.
One of the main reasons why I do not use gmail is the lack of folders. Sadly the viability of me using Protonmail just went down.

Somewhat like Gmail (I shudder when I write that name)? Or the way email was organized in the Opera M2 email client? Very, very good. Any such change will mean that Protonmail will suddenly become much, much more interesting to use.
