User Controlled Email Filtering
I would like to be able to set up email filters such as those available on GMail and other mail services. I receive many spam emails that are not marked as spam and my inbox is constantly filled with junk mail from a few senders. It would be useful to be able to send emails to trash based on sender or specific keywords.
Full Email Filtering has been released in Version 3.4. You can learn more here: https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-v3-4-release-notes/.

Currently there's only one generic global spam filter processing mail coming from outside of the service. Email sent from ProtonMail accounts isn't filtered at all. Please implement client-side learning spam filter (perhaps Bayesian) that actually looks at the messages marked as spam / removed from spam folder and uses that information to filter new messages. This is highly effective against primitive repetitive spam and against various "newsletters" without working unsubscribe option.

Now when you get an email form say Twitter you have to manually add a label. It would be nice if you can set a rule that all emails from Twitter automatically get the lable "Twitter" and "Social Media" applied.

Just like in gmail, to set filters would help labels work better

I would like to see filters implemented not only for incoming also for sent emails

I can't use a mail without filter rules, if we don't have it then it could become a mess.

Allow tagging of emails, or rather filtering them. Used side by side with a subfolder system also. Example, "Work" tag, then filtered by sender, subject, etc. into the work folder; or, subject has the words "monthly statement", filter it to financial folder, etc.

Some of my contacts always fall inside the spam folder. It would be very useful to get the chance to add an address to a personal white list so to avoid that their email goes into spam, a folder which is less often checked than the inbox.
On another side also a personal blacklist could be useful -
