Make the column widths adjustable.
When in Column layout, please make the column widths adjustable. I don't need the sidebar and message to be as wide as they are and I do need the message text area to be wider because text is often cut off.

Ability to Resize Inline Image Attachments
Gmail allows inline images uploaded to be resized, so they are not so huge and graphically fit with the body-text of a message. I'd love to be able to resize and design proportions of email imagery, as it tends to be a significant part of my communications.

Stop using JAVascript for your new onion link. JavaScript undermines the anonymity of TOR
The name says it all really, stop using JavaScript for the onion site as it can completely undermine the security The Tor Project provides, I know for a fact there's a community that wouldn't use it due to that.

Formatting, enlarge the font
It would be nice and save my eyes, to be able to enlarge the font, or the text. Easier to pre-read my emails before sending.

Drag & drop between To, CC, and BCC
When composing and email, it would be nice if I could just drag a recipient from "To" to "CC" or "BCC" and vice versa. Especially when using "Reply All".

Unread emails tab
Change inbox tab to show total emails in account and put another tab under inbox showing total unread emails, and revealing only unread emails when clicking on it.This would make sorting unread emails easier than going searching for them.

One-step deletion process
I'd like to have a one-step deletion process for messages. Now it's five (!) steps: move messages to trash, go to the trash folder, select messages, delete trashed messages and confirm the action. Please make a shortcut, add it to the menu, and Bob's your uncle.

Trash messages need to be separate from Inbox messages
Messages sent to the Trash should not reappear in my Inbox when I receive a new email from the same chain.
Currently, if I receive a new message from the same chain as an email I already trashed, the trashed messages reappears in my Inbox. Messages I have trashed should never reappear in my Inbox.

Captcha without Google
Please consider using, during sign-up, a Captcha app/service that isn't hosted on Google. Anyone who wanted the feature "Protonmail should be Google free" should also want this feature.

Separate read and unread mails view option
GMail has this wonderful and dead simple UI/UX feature which I would like to see in my ProtonMail account: inside inbox, one can choose to collect all unread emails first, on top and then (separated by a small label or something) one can see all the already read emails below. Otherwise in this "view" the order/sort can be changed to size/date both with asc/desc options.
This feature makes it very easy to look at the inbox and see all read and unread mails without clicking on "show read only" or "show unread only".
Thanks in advance!

Show the first lines of the Body in Conversation View
Conversation view should display the first lines of the body to be useful.
When you have more than 3-4 emails in the same conversation, it becomes really hard to find anything inside. The more you have, the more useless becomes conversation view, when it should be the opposite. It should be useful when you have 20 or 30 (or more) replies on the same subject/conversation.
Gmail shows the first words of the body of the message between the sender and the date, and that makes all the difference.
On a many-email conversation you can have a look and scroll down…

Printing entire conversations that occur in one e-mail chain.
How it stands now, if you have more than one email in a conversation you have to print each one individually-- which is fine if there are only a few emails in that chain.
When you have a lot of messages in one conversation it is a little tedious to have to print each one.
I understand that you can have the conversation displayed as quoted text and print that, but it would be more efficient to have the option to print the entire conversation the way Gmail does.
Thanks.

Add the ability to save emails as PDFs
Add the ability to save emails as PDFs, similar to the "Email Archiver Pro" app on Mac OS, which produces clean PDF copies of individual emails as well as copies of any attachments.

Label multiple checked messages messages keyboard shortcut
Gmail has the ability to press "L" while having multiple messages selected and then the ability to immediate begin typing to filter messages.
I think this would be a VERY EASY feature to implement considering if you click the label button it already does the exact functionality I want.
THE EXCEPTION is that the filter box is not auto-focused which would be a requirement for this feature. Again, a very easy change.

Allow choosing alias addresses in From:-Field when composing or replying to an email
By using an proton alias-email address like "username+alias@protonmail.com" in contact forms, you will receive emails to this alias address in response. However, it is not possible to answer in return using that alias address, i.e., you cannot set in "From:" or "ReplyTo:" fields an alias address.
That is confusing because the From:-email-address is forced to change during a single email communication.
Moreover, in general, it would be good to allow a freely chosen "ReplyTo" or "From" email address, including email-aliases.
Thanks!
