  1. Make Bridge compatible with Windows 7 again

I still prefer to keep my Windows 7 machine with Outlook 2016, disappointed to

see Proton discontinue support for Windows 7 with Mail Bridge.
Why limit customers choices? Why can't older version of Bridge continue to work

    with Win7?
    RE-IMPLEMENT WIN7 COMPAT!

  3. Contacts tab needed

We need to be able to edit contacts from a separate tab. It is exceedingly clumsy to do a lot of editing in the current arrangement

  6. Use DBus APIs to access Network Manager instead of command line calls for better security

I would like to suggest using DBus APIs to access Network Manager instead of command line calls for better security. Command line calls are vulnerable to spoofing and tampering by other processes, while DBus APIs can use a proper authentication mechanism and access control policy to ensure only authorized messages are sent and received. Moreover, DBus APIs allow verifying the sender of a message before handling it, which can prevent malicious messages from unauthorized senders.

In the context of Flatpak, it can avoid sandbox escape if we only expose DBus instead of allowing host command execution.

  8. Make ProtonMail Bridge on macOS more power efficient & reliable on battery

For normal use, with multiple applications open and browser tabs in Safari etc I'm below 10% overall CPU use on my M1 Pro, drawing around 7-9W.

When opening mail.app and proton bridge I'm drawing 12-18W with frequent spikes into the 40s and overall user CPU usage is close to 20%.

Combined with the fact that my mail app regularly becomes unresponsive I generally just don't have my email client open when on battery, and rely on my phone or (ugh) webmail. If Bridge is going to be mandatory for using an external client (with FileVault & ProtonVPN on it seems…

  10. A better website icon for use as a brave web-app

Protonmail doesn't offer a native app for MacOS or windows, however the brave browser allows you to create a web-app for it that treats it as though it is a different app with an icon in the dock/start menu/taskbar. The existing icon for these apps is being pulled from the browser address bar/website icon and has ugly square edged. Could you please update this so it matches the style of the iOS icons. Brave web-apps also allow you create similar icons for proton drive and proton calendar.

  11. Can we move the "Message moved to Trash" message so that it doesn't block the controls on messages in the message list?

After deleting 4 messages, the pile up of
    "Message moved to Trash. Undo"
messages blocks access to the buttons for the top message in the list. Then you have to wait for the time delay for these messages to disappear so you can continue to process the message list.
If this messages were displayed where it would not block access to the buttons to control the messages, it would speed things up.

  12. improve dock icon to coincide with vpn status

on the macos dock the icon has 2 colour status; illuminated when connected, greyed when disconnected (from vpn).

when the app is completely closed the dock icon looks the same as the illuminated state suggesting the vpn may be active.

could we rethink the colours so that when the app is closed it matches the icons disconnected status.

    ie
app closed / disconnected = vpn off [grey]
app open / disconnected = vpn off [grey]
app open / vpn connected = vpn on [illuminated]
... or something along those lines

  13. Better folder management in e-mail client like Outlook, Thunderbird

The folder/subfolder structure is essential for me. I have so many mails and can't sort them because I can't create folders and subfolders from Outlook. I've traded usability for security. I'm not sure if you're implementing this but I've started looking for an alternative.

  14. FIX UNDELIVERED EMAIL PROBLEMS

My emails do not arrive into peoples emails, spam folders or anything.. AOL, GMAIL, YAHOO ETC, all do not receive emails and no "undelivered" email is sent back to me. This is happening with friends proton emails as well, emails they send do not make it to the inbox of recipients. This is UNACCEPTABLE. This is the 3rd or 4th time time this has happened THAT I KNOW OF. If this keeps happening I will be forced to close my account and go with one of the big tech monopoly companies that steal your info and spam you with advertisements…

  15. Requesting a Bridge Option

Requesting a Bridge Option: Most of the computers I use are physically secure and only have one user. It would be great if I could either turn off or set my own password between the bridge and email client.

    Thank you!

  16. Have you always been an average student with aspirations to attend your ideal institution in Leeds? It's time to realise your goals by utili

We recognise that there are many things you are ignorant of when you consider studying abroad, like the requirements to enrol in a college or university. In addition, if you do get in, you will be overwhelmed by assignment issues because you have never worked on them before.
Relax In order to avoid having their admission applications denied and to get through the early challenges of writing assignments until they develop the necessary abilities, students who intend to study in Leeds might turn to Online Assignment Help Leeds in the province. They will be spared a great deal of time,…

  17. Have the ability to "bulk delete" emails from a folder all at once.

I would like to see the ability to "bulk delete" all emails from a folder. Currently, it seems the only way to delete large numbers of in-box emails is to "select all" in the white box at the top which selects only 50 emails, hit delete, and repeat as many times as necessary. If the in-box is out of control, this is tedious and can take far too long. It's the sole reason I'm thinking of moving away from ProtonMail.

  18. Proton Bridge in Raspberry Pi!

I will really appreciate a Proton Bridge client for Raspberry pi. A lot of freedom activist in non democratic countries use Raspberry pi (little and easy to smuggler). They need to use ProtonMail with Raspberry pi to ensure they activism is (more or less) secure.
Please, please, please. I know Russian freedom activist that will love to use this upgrade. PLEASE!

  19. Bridge written in pure C

It would be good if bridge written in C, so go not needed. Mostly for command line based system. Minimize build dependency.

  20. Download attached PDFs with their original file name instead of document.pdf

Download attached PDFs with their original file name instead of "document.pdf". Currently the built-in PDF viewer will download documents to a file with a a generic "document.pdf" name. Not very helpful
