Phone contacts in Proton Mail
Do you have or are you planning to create a Messenger service like WhatsApp or a way to use WhatsApp with my contacts stored in protonmail, I am using an android phone as well as computers and don’t like the fact that google store all my contact details as well as other things, I have imported all my phone contacts into protonmail and will try to use protonmail to make calls in the future, protonmail isn’t as user friendly to make calls unless you can advise me on how to make a shortcut on my phone to go directly to…

Add to Calendar option in the email context menu to quickly create events

Thank you for the continued development of Proton Mail and Proton Calendar. Your commitment to privacy and user-centric features is greatly appreciated.
I would like to request a feature that would streamline productivity and organization within the Proton ecosystem: the ability to add an email to Proton Calendar directly from the context menu in all apps.
Specifically:
• When right-clicking (or tapping the options menu) on an email in the inbox, or when viewing an open email, there should be an option to “Add to Calendar”

Different inbox for each custom email address/alias
For each custom email address/alias, a specific inbox. Or at the very least, the ability to sort emails by which email alias/address they came from.

Offline access for desktop apps
Allow the desktop app to download a copy of the email to read and work offline (read any and all inbox email, delete, write and send emails), which will be queued for syncing whenever online. Same for calendar events.

Automatically create filter based on selected email
It would be very helpful if there was an option from within the mail app where users could select a particular email and create a filter for it from there, creating the folder, defining the rule, and then running on existing mail. When creating from an email, the filter option could automatically generate some rules, like from the sender of the email you are filtering.
When I am going through my inbox and I see a particular sender is sending more mail than I prefer or it is starting to add up, it would be nice to just do it…

Add a Proton Two-Step Authenticator
We really need a Proton 2-step authenticator. It's just really annoying to have to log into a diff platform to do this (like authy, etc). It's much nicer when everything is centralized and I don't have to open a million apps to do things. Thanks.

Email Alias management in Mail (not in pass)
The email alias is a great idea, but I hate that I have to switch over to proton pass to manage them, because I don't use proton pass I use bitwarden and am happy with it.
Please integrate it into the email where it makes much more sense, and allows us who don't use proton pass to still use it with ease.
If I send to an email, it should replace my main email with the alias. Otherwise it just leaks my email anyways.
Better integration into mail is needed. I need full control of the aliases in mail like…

Address book with Android
Hello. I was wondering when you will address the issue of compatibility of the address book with Android. The philosophy linked to the replacement of invasive and tracking Google apps cannot ignore making your alternative apps available and contacts are an essential option. It seems to me that the request has been made for some time but nothing new under the sun. I understand other difficulties such as the inconsistency between the web and app versions of your products but, at least the use of the address book, seems to me to be something essential

See the raw message or at least raw headers
Please allow an option to see the raw message in the app, especially ALL headers, including X- headers.
While Proton does what it can to help protect users, much more information is in the raw message, especially the headers. We are robbed of examining these in the mobile app. This is a SECURITY option.
This needn't be an "always on" option, simply a choice to see it as an option ad hoc on individual messages. Seeing all headers all the time is unnecessary. But on certain messages, I want to see everything I've been sent.56 votes -
Scrub personal information and any direct mention of Proton when replying to an email received through an alias
One of my favorite functions that I never knew I always wanted in Proton Mail is that when a photo is attached there is an option to remove metadata!
On a similar principal, when an email is received through an established alias, it is usually because I didn't want to just sprinkle personal information all over the internet (in my case it's already everywhere I don't want it anyway, but there's no point in being a soft target all the same...).

Birthday calendar
Another not insignificant problem is the impossibility of importing birthdays from your contacts and therefore using them to integrate Proton Calendar with these events. It seems like a relative problem but it is not: like contacts (not manageable on Android) the calendar also suffers from this limitation. If the intent is to represent an alternative to the invasive Google, not taking these elements into account is completely antithetical to the project

Add biometrics to unlock phone app
Right now, everytime I update my Android app it logs out and I need to relogin again. It would be nice if I could use my fingerprint to unlock it instead. So this is an attempt to solve the auto-logout.

Make it possible to navigate from mail to mail instead of needing to go back to folder/label
Dto.—going from one email to another is unnecessarily difficult (not possible) on both the web version of Proton Mail, and in the app (Android). It requires going back to the original folder/label or an action on the email (like archiving it), to be able to go to the next one. This requires one more click than having some way to just move to the next mail. Gmail, for example, provides special mail navigation (arrows, web version) and allows to swipe from mail to mail (app).

Show Display name in more places
Display names associated with proton mail addresses should be shown in more places in Proton apps:
When composing a new email, my selected Proton email address does not show its display name next to it. Since I use my various Proton emails for different purposes (Online, Personal, etc.), it is easy to forget which email address I use for which purpose when selecting my From email address for new emails.

auto assign email to label or folder based on their address
It would be nice to create a label for school or work, then assign some email addresses to these labels. Such that you don't have to manually assign labels and such. Would just be a nice quality of life that would make it easier to find the stuff you are actually looking for
