Add in pin password or touch id protection to iOS App

Have an option in the iOS app where you can enable a pin password or touch id password requirement everytime you open the app. Something simple just to keep your email from being snooped through, if your phone is open/unlocked. If you've ever used the Serverauditor app they have a similar feature and I find it very useful.

    Hello,

    I do hope your team may please consider adding set it and forget it settings to both the biometric Face & Touch ID locking and Privacy, Remove Image Meta-Data settings within the ProtonMail app for iOS. It would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    This is a feature request that I truly hope that your team may please consider. I have a lot of regrettable experience that has taught me that zero trust OS environments are the most effectively secure.

    I do hope your team may please consider adding biometric Face & Touch ID, set it and forget it, locking to the ProtonVPN app for iOS, similar to the ProtonMail app. Face ID locking on supported, newer iPhones and Touch ID locking on, otherwise older models that support it, would be greatly appreciated.

    I don’t consider Face ID to be a valuable security feature. It feels more like tracking than protection.
    Protonmail is driven by privacy protection. I hope a feature like this will not be included. How about a separate pin to unlock the app..?

    Implement Face ID as a security feature that can be used to unlock the app. It is more secure than using a password and a 4 digit passcode. Also, Touch ID is unavailable on the iPhone X.

    FaceID and Touch ID work fine with the ProtonMail app, in my experience
    Did you activate the feature in the settings?

    It would be super useful to enable touch and face ID for the ProtonMail app on iOS devices. It is very inconvenient currently to have to either remember a login and password or to fire up a password app just to log in to ProtonMail. Also, integration with Siri for voice-to-text would be awesome!

    Want! Now someone can open the app from your phone (while you're not looking) and still see your mail. Once you close the app and open back up, it should immediately ask to login with Touch ID, when the user enabled it. Much more secure!

    I posted this idea too and then realized this was already suggested so I deleted it and added my votes. Would love to see this feature.
