Take a look at ZeroNetwork (https://zeronet.io/) and consider the existence of a server less ProtonMail system connected to secure social media and webbrowsing experience. What people dreamed TOR could provide, but in a better looking interface, truly secure and redundant storage.

    Thanks @Charles for the ZeroNet reference. I don't quite agree with connecting mail to social media (secure or not), but I'm definitely in favor of distributed "infrastructure".
