Hello, how about different star & icon colors (basically the same options as in Google mail)? Thanks for considering.

One element of Gmail I dearly appreciate, especially but not only for Google Groups, is its star system: leave star blank, gold star it as important, blue star it (which I use to let me know I've read it once), checkmark it (which I use when I can't reply now but want to check back to reply later, exclamation point (which I use to note as super important to me). Each of these is color coded as well (checkmark is green, exclamation point is orange).

The stars on the emails - can you please make the stars be different colors so its not just yellow? Then it would make it so it would be able to help with organizing emails.

The current yellow is (just barely) OK in the Dark theme on the latest beta desktop version but much too pale in Default theme. Please use a more contrasting color that works for both themes, or (better yet) add a way to choose color in the Settings. Thanks!

I would like to have a red star button instead of the yellow star when I mark something as important. The yellow star is almost invisible and blends in with the white background. The star button could come in various colors.
I hope you can do something about this, because it would make things a whole lot easier.

Is there any way to brighten "star" color or offer different "star" colors? Currently, highlighted stars are so faint I can barely see them. And having different colors for stars would help to categorize email messages.

The light yellow color of starred messages is very pale. A darker, or color option would help visuals. Thanks!

have the stars (to mark an important email) be able to have multiple colors and also be check marks like in gmail - so the different categories of emails can have a different color stars or symbols (like different color check marks like in gmail)

You can change the CSS via Settings -> Appearance.
