This is a pretty basic feature and creates a much more usable Inbox. Would love to see this feature.

I definitely agree. Many email addresses have it and it would make Proton Mail more modern and personalised.

Allow us to set profile pictures that can be seen by those who receive our emails, proton and non proton users alike.

Yes, I agree that the additional option of inserting a profile image would make a significant improvement to the ProtonMail interface.
Having a profile image helps to make a positive impression on people receiving my mail. -

For serious users, business, social purpose, recognition.. the profile picture should be the basic in every mail account
..and it would be nice to edit profile name to show on the top.. not full email xxxyyy@protonmail.ch.. maybe option to just show name and last name YYY XXX
