Grizz will run soon out of choices, since soon there will be no provider not supporting web3.

Blockchain technology has a limited life span. All of the distributed ledgers are bad for the environment. Many cryptocurrencies are scams. Very few users control the majority of the tokens causing repeated "Pump and Dump" type thefts to occur.
If Protonmail starts using cryptocurrency, I'll find a different provider. I'm fine with using blockchain in general as long as it is understood as a stopgap.

I think they will not do it. They are just providing integration of EMD and PMD domains. I also integrate a PMD website https://www.processfusion.com/en/industries/retail-document-management/ with protonmail.
