I ran a test from https://emailspooftest.com/ on proton to see how much protection it has against things like lookalike characters in email addresses or other technicians to spoof an email. It didn't turn out great. We might want to add a bit more protection so we can know for sure we are talking to the right people. It's a protection I would expect to be there for a privacy focused email client.
