I think recently, protonmail gone for opensource and it's available for public use now. Two days back it had launched mobile apps for the users.

App suggestion is necessary in light of the society we're in, but one touch password and other nonsense, people?! If you are not interested in privacy and security FIRST (yes, before "convenience") then why bother with anything other than Gmail.

iPhone app, cool...BUT! must pay great attention to security, apple owns the platform so it may be able to MiTM tpe app and get the password/communication. It is a must, but not at any price!

Go to auto login like Dashlane, works across the range, iPad, Mac windows etc. you will need to remember your mailbox pass word. Not to difficult.

This is similiar request that I already made at:

The point should be to focus on the fact that users emails would remain secured even after Protonmail servers compromise.

Without an iOS app, it will limit my usage of Proton Mail. The app is critical to competing with Google. My entire reason for signing up for this service and switching back to an iOS device from Android is to fracture my Google ecosystem. Without this, it is quite likely that your adoption rate will remain low.

Having such a strong password I can seldom remember it without a visual aid, so it would be nice to use the iPhone's TouchID to simply sign in!

An app is crucial to make me switch. Tutanota already got one.

Please make an app for easier access just like Wickr - for iPhone. It would be great and faster to get in...with auto-login option and ID finger touch.

If IMAP access is not going to be possible due to Protonmail's local mailbox decryption (which is what I understand to be the case, though I could be wrong?) then in my opinion high quality mobile apps are absolutely vital if this service is going to truly take off.
Access needs to be easy everywhere and the size of the trade off between convenience and security needs to be minimized as much as possible.
Decent iOS and Android apps would mitigate the loss of IMAP and strike the perfect compromise between security and convenience for me.
