auto archive
I want a function to auto-archive emails before a certain date. I have thousands of emails in the inbox, and it's impossible to move all that manually.

Allow custom notification instead of forwarding
Allow a custom message to be sent to a unique address, triggered by a simple filter, not just forwarded. Some emails I want to know about are full of details that I don't need to know immediately, I would prefer to send to my phone's gateway address a simple message such as "Water leak detected" without streams of HTML in the SMS.

Sync customization settings between web and mobile apps
It would be nice if the settings that are accessible via the web app are also on the iOS app, particularly the customisation of density and theme. The current iOS app only displays the default, regardless of whether a theme or density of preference are selected on the web app, with no method of changing it.

Unhide conversation history
When I forward or reply to a message, the body of the message I reply to or forward is automatically copied at the end of my new message and is "hidden."
Please add an option to never automatically hide this "conversation history."
And make the "..." button that unhides the history clearly visible, e.g. red.
Right now, it is hard to see this button, so sometimes I send messages with the whole history without noticing it.2 votes -
option to disable spam folder in protonmail bridge
The spam folder may contain infected attachement. I like to be able to not get this folder on my desktop. An options to disable the spam folder can help to prevent this vector of infection.

Add private note to emails in Inbox
An ability to attach a note (also encrypted, naturally) to one of the emails in my mailboxes, just for personal use in tracking the reason behind a message, or what I have done in relation to any particular email, would be a tremendously useful feature! Please bring us a way to attach one or more notes (preferably with timestamps on when each was made) to any email in our mailboxes! Thank you!

Funzione autodistruzione email
Sarebbe utile è ci sarebbe anche più privacy se nell'autodistruzione delle email invece di aspettare per forza la scadenza io posso in qualunque momento eliminarle prima.

Count badge on iOS icon shows the total of unread emails from all accounts.
When using Proton Mail with multi-accounts, it's useful that the count badge on iOS icon shows the total of unread emails from all accounts, so I don't have to switch account to know if I have unread email.

Dedicated aliases for saving email attachments to Proton Drive folders
It would be great for automation and integration with 3rd party systems. Create a limited number of email aliases (a slot will free up when the integration alias is removed) that will save attachments from received emails directly to a s corresponding folder on the Proton Drive. This would make integration with various devices extremely easy without a need to configure access to a folder.

Increase usability for phone-only contacts.
Need to be able to group contacts with phone number only.
Need to be able to assign contacts to multiple groups (even if they are name and phone number only)
If the contact app is developed this would be critical in eliminating use of google (or apple) native apps

rename message subject
when you receive a message it can sometimes be useful to be able to rename the subject of the message received. This function is natively in Outlook, EmClient and in Thunderbird (with an extension)

Show snippet of email body when looking at email list
Other email services such as Gmail and Outlook have this, and it seems pretty simple to implement. Currently, when looking at the inbox on desktop and in the mobile app, you can see the sender and subject of each email. I think we should also be able to see the first few words of the email itself.
On desktop, the remaining space to the right of the subject line would be filled with the actual message body so that the email's content can be ascertained at a glance.
On mobile, the email notification should be expandable to make some the…

Add before/after action on folders
I am writing to suggest a possible new feature associated with the “Folders and labels” page under mail “Folders ->settings.”
By way of some background, I am a relatively new user. My preference has been to employ many folders in the three-tier hierarchy. (There are scores of folders, most at the third level and fewer as you progress to the higher levels.) I use labels to indicate things like status and priority.
My proposal for your consideration is the addition of an “add after/before” action for each folder in addition to the existing edit and delete actions. This would save…

I'd like the ability to exclude spam from All Mail but INCLUDE Trashed mail.
I'd like the ability to exclude spam from All Mail but INCLUDE Trashed mail. I.e., Separate the Exclude Spam/Trash from All Mail toggle into two toggles.

Sent & searched emails should also be shown as conversation
When one goes to the "Sent" folder, one should be able to see the emails listed grouped/threaded as a conversation, just like with the Inbox. This should be at least an option.
Analogously, when one is searching emails, found emails (at least as an option) should also be grouped/threaded as a conversation.
It's otherwise very difficult to find the right emails (both in sent & search modes). Actually, often I don't care about a specific email. What I care about is finding the conversation.

word suggestion during email composing
You should introduce a new feature word suggestion during email composing, it helps us to compose email quickly. I am already using this feature in Yandex mail and Outlook mail.
