  3. Add possibility to close sessions

There should be an option to see from where you were logged in your mail and you can be able to unlogin all the other sessions.

  4. Option to delete (encrypted) private key from server (use browser storage instead)

The encrypted key is stored in browser storage and only transmitted to the server by request of the user (or at least he has a checkbox somewhere to not upload it). As long as the key is on the server the user can download it (= log in) to new clients (like it works now). If the user has set up all his clients he can request to delete the key from the server (he should be advised/forced to download a backup copy then). Actually proton mail could basically stay the same for most users. You would just give some…

  5. ProtonMail security features with other email services.

Allowing customers to use ProtonMail features with a gmail account with advertising auto message, "This gmail message was processed using ProtonMail high level security" attached. That service would be huge. I'd even pay for such a service where I could use my gmail account to send a ProtonMail secured message. It's a pain to change over primary email provider to ProtonMail. Everyone wants security, but the difficulties of notifying all their contacts about a new email address is daunting.

  7. Paid Priority access

A user may choose to pay to have priority access and support proton mail in the meantime.

  8. I would like to see an option where emails go to your server are encrypted and get forwarded unincrypted

Many people are not willing to do anything new not even to enter a password to open an encrypted mail.

    Sad to say.

So I would like to see an option where mails and attachments are sent to your server encrypted and are forwarded to the recipient unincrypted. This has at least some security better than nothing for communicating with people who do not want to care with encryption.

I also would like an option where all mails that get sent unencrypted get automatically encrypted on your server and get forwarded just like the ones who come from a protonmail…

  9. Recipient-specific encryption keys

Instead of setting an encryption key for each email I send to non-ProtonMail users, I would like to set an encryption key for each recipient.

This allows me, for example, to agree upon separate encryption keys for John and Dave, so that they can decrypt emails with their own unique password. Then when I send an email to both of them, their individual copy of the email is encrypted separately with the key I have assigned to them.

This also relieves me of the burden of constantly creating keys and hints for people I regularly correspond with.

Need links attachments such as when you type Google.com you should be able to click on it and it will redirect you to the website on sent email.

  12. Temporary Alias with delayed send (validity, you decide)

Assume that NSA can see To:, From:, When etc. Its a good idea to make sure they don't see who and when an email was sent (without court order)

  14. Subject of received mail in the Notification mail

In the Notification mail " You have 2 new message(s) in your ProtonMail account ..." - it would be great if you could see the subject of the received mail in the Notification mail.

  15. Check if a email for another user has been successfully viewed

If I send an encrypted email to a non-protonmail user I'd like to be able to see if that user has accessed the email successfully. A symbol like a check-box in the inbox would suffice.
It could be combined with a counter of how many times the email has been viewed (as mentioned in another idea).

  16. The ability to have a section of unencrypted text when sending an encrypted message to outside email addressed

When you want to send a message that is secure to an outside email address, but you would also like to have the ability to have some sort of unencrypted text that might tell them like here are the files you asked me for or something along those lines.

  17. Button to label a link in email

How about a button so that while composing an email text can be highlighted, then the highlighted text be labeled? The way Proton Mail is presented in the Sent from Proton Mail line appended at the end of a message being composed?

So, http://protonmail.com could be highlighted, label window opens, type Proton Mail, then Proton Mail appears as the underlined link?

  19. Tracing source access to Message

    Imagine this
I want to share message with outside user and encrypt
I have sent him a link but I want to make sure he is the only one to access it. I think it would be nice if we can see who and from where accessed this message like google analytics or other services
    What do you think
