yubi key
I would love to see yubi key support as a 2FA method of Authentication, similar to what LastPass does. It would be great if it could be the only way to authenticate(no other 2FA methods if Yubi keys is enabled)

Boggles my mind that implementing this isn't a top priority for Proton Mail. At least they don't use SMS for 2FA though.

Just purchased a Yubi Key thinking I'd be able to use with ProtonMail as the sole 2FA method. Instead, I have to rely on Yubi's app with the hardware key to produce a 2FA code to input. This just makes the process lengthy and reliant on Yubi's software updates. Please implement Yubi hardware 2FA. Love ProtonMail otherwise.

Really, Universal Second-Factor (not only YubiKey) is gold standard in 2FA security, it's a glaring hole that ProtonMail doesn't have that.

I really would like to see this implemented. It seems weird a security focused provider hasn’t implemented this yet.

Second this, would like to have YubiKey support added since most major browsers natively support it.

I would like to use my Yubi Key as a second factor authentication device. Is that possible now, might it be possible later?
