Australian servers
Could you please add more servers in Melbourne, Australia? We are the second largest city in the country and have the fewest servers by far. Thank you!

Use Split Tunneling to Improve VPN Performance
Split tunneling allows you to route some of your internet traffic through the VPN while letting other traffic access the internet directly. This can significantly improve performance, especially for activities like streaming or gaming, I had an assignment to research on how can we improve VPNs, so I got this idea from there. When I was working on this idea I hired a research consultancy that helped me in researching the important aspects about this topic.

Make Proton VPN work within China
I was recently traveling in China and I could not get ProtonVPN to work with any server I attempted. Are there ways to enable this service to work reliably within China?

allow ports to be mapped for longer then 60 sec at a time
currently Proton only allows mapping a port for 60 sec at a time when manually port forwarding us NAT-PMP. Allow users to map for 3600 secounds (1 hour) as is typically allowed when using NAT-PMP functions.

Better description of server locations, and add to start up services.
So I use the vpn for geo location services as much as privacy. I use mostly Canadian and U.S servers. However I noticed the US servers have the state in their name (eg. US-NY#131) while the Canadian ones are just CAN#131. Can we add the city to the description here please. eg CA-TOR#131, CA-MON#131 etc. This would make it so much easier to chose which server I want. Doing so on all servers would be helpful.
Also in Linux have an option to add to start up would be nice as well.
Thanks

Basic VPN plan
My current VPN service, which includes Google VPN and additional features, costs $25 per year. While I have the free version of ProtonVPN, I don't use it because it lacks servers in my home country, causing issues with accessing some local websites. I would consider switching to ProtonVPN if they offered a paid tier just above the free plan with a reasonable price, ideally including 1 or 2 overseas servers and 1-2 local servers for accessing local content.

GUI contrast
For some with impaired vision, the Proton interface is very hard to read. Is there any chance of getting a light background with black letters and a larger font?

Tunneling. Differentiating between all installed browsers
It's will be great to be able to add or remove a specific browser from the tunneling list. Like : I have multiple Firefox and Chrome version installed and I want some in and some out the tunneling list.

Split Tunneling: Possibility of choosing apps by active processes
Currently you can only choose apps by searching for .exe files on system or IP.
It would be great to be able to select apps by active processes.
Ex: It's very difficult to activate the feature in MS Store apps. You have to look for the files that are HIDDEN by default. And it doesn't always work.
Via active processes would be much more practical and faster.Other VPNs already allow this in addition to the way currently implemented by Proton.

Netshield block all but adds
I would like to be able to block all but adds. So essentially that would be blocking Malware and Trackers.
I don't really like adds but hey, they pay all the free content I consume. But I still want to be protected against trackers.

Fix YouTube Videos not loading on some servers.
Some VPN servers make YouTube think you're a bot ("Log in to prove you aren't a bot") (e.g. DE#426). These are also the servers that can bypass VPN detection on other sites.
If this is intentional, please provide a way to identify these servers so I can create a profile that doesn't connect to them.

Android improvements (country names, profiles, metrics, random connections)
A posted this on reddit, but I figured I'd put it here as well.
I've been a longtime user of ProtonMail and ProtonVPN and am incredibly grateful of everything they've done to make privacy accessible to more people. I also really love the new ProtonMail app. But ProtonVPN has problems.
To some it up, it seems like functionality has been sacrificed for vague aesthetics.
Specifics:
1. The name of the country you are connected to is in tiny text down near the bottom of the screen. This is even worse if you are connected to the "fastest country". Instead most…13 votes
