   Despite the overall exceptional user experience, I find myself in need of a feature that currently seems to be absent in the mobile version of ProtonVPN. I am particularly interested in an "App Exclusion" or "Split Tunneling" feature that allows users to exclude certain mobile apps from routing their data through the VPN.

   The need for this feature arises from the fact that certain apps, such as my banking applications and some location-dependent services, do not function optimally when connected via VPN. In some cases, these apps don't necessitate the additional privacy layer that a VPN provides. Therefore, being able to exclude them from the VPN connection would significantly enhance my user experience. While this feature is common in several other VPN services, its addition to ProtonVPN would undeniably augment the service's utility.

   I comprehend that feature enhancements are weighed based on the wider user base's needs and priorities. However, I strongly believe that many users like me who utilize a variety of apps — some of which may not perform well with VPNs or those aiming to minimize unnecessary VPN data usage for certain apps — would greatly appreciate this feature.

3. Choose DNS through the ATV App

   I'd love to switch from NordVPN to Proton but at the moment I have no possibility to set a custom DNS within the Proton Android TV app. The only way is to use OpenVPN which is really uncomfortable. Please, add the possibility to use custom DNS on android and you'll earn another user. Thanks

4. VPN default profile

   VPN default profile. I use VPN for work and created a dedicate profile for it. Unfortunately there is no way for me to select the default profile, so whenever it conennects it takes the first fastest server making me change to the profile. I would like to have the possibility to change the default profile.

6. Remove uncaught spying vector for slimy Google

   First, how many starting users know all the settings and that they might be "effectively" thinking they're private on the VPN, while really not necessarily being protected fully from Google spying.

   This is not a knock on Proton's excellent tunnel privacy, but a sort of front and back door that may be open, like it turned out to be on my iphone ProtonVPN install.

   The biggest spyware operation that's ever existed called "Google," has a DNS operation to spy further on users activities which can happen prior to entering the VPN tunnel... IF ... you have "Allow Alternative Routing" to be turned on (which is the "tyrannical" default setting).

   With browser fingerprinting and Google spy scripts on I'd estimate 97% of all websites in the world, it can easily know you are
   a) diving into the finite number of Proton servers and
   b) know it's you by virtue of the million points of data in a file they have on you and use it and fingerprinting to know it's you on the other end.

   Privacy's number one enemy is the scumbag Google, manipulating world elections with its data and allowing for potential blackmail of anyone who opposes it, whether by its own doing or a government that has access to its servers (with/without consent).

   Solution:
   A) Turn off Alternative Routing by default;
   B) Make it a tranparent choice as to which service(s) can be picked for alternative DNS;
   C) disqualify Google from being one of those services!

   Google has so many conned into thinking it's a friend with its manipulating algorithms, easy/lazy tools for webmasters, and cheap phones, chromebooks, tablets to "own" the user like a good spyware rootkit, but one that also puts users to sleep.

   And lastly, Alphabet is already being said that for its A.I. it now wants every literal bit that flows on the entire internet to be in its servers. Sick.

    You make it really hard to see all options and pick and chose and compare.

    The buttons are located at button and the android version located at top. Is any way to change this and the two version looks the same?

    Introduce a dedicated button on the main interface of the application on PC, allowing users to quickly toggle the Split Tunneling feature on or off. This enhancement aims to provide convenience and efficiency for those who frequently have to switch this option, eliminating the need to navigate to settings so often. 19. Automatically Revert to preferred profile/fastest server after maintenance

    Scenario: A user is connected to a preferred/fastest server and eventually it goes into maintenance and moves the user to the next fastest connection. However, when the preferred/fastest server goes back up, the user has to be mindful that he/she has to manually revert back to the preferred/fastest server. Also, there is no notification that the preferred/fastest server is back up.

20. What is the point of VPN profiles, if you cannot save the most essential connection settings into them?

    When I use the VPN for everyday web surfing, checking emails, or streaming Netflix, I do not use features like split-tunnel, port-forwarding, or NAT moderation.
    When I use the VPN for P2P file sharing (torrent), instead, I do need to activate the three features I just mentioned.

    Therefore, at the moment I have to open the application settings and change these three manually every single time.

    What is the point of allowing users to setup connection profiles for different purposes, if you cannot save essential connection settings that are clearly an advantage for some of those purposes (that you designed profiles for), and clearly a disadvantage (if not a risk) for others?

    Please introduce the ability to save into each profile different settings for the split-tunnel, port-forwarding, and NAT moderation features.
