Automatically enable vpn on public or compromised Wifi's
Offer a switch to make Proton VPN automatically connect to its services when it detects that you are connected to a Public or Compromised Wifi.
This can be useful if you don't want the VPN to turn on in your home wifi, but you still want to turn it on when connected to a public wifi.

Configuration Instructions for Unifi Dream Machine Pro and SE
There are several Configuration instruction sets for various operating systems and platforms already on the ProtonVPN site; however, the generic GNU/Linux instructions do not meet the needs of Unifi owners who want the security of ProtonVPN DNSSEC as well as the tunnel providing security against ISP snooping/logging.

Website and app exceptions for Mac client
I'm unable to find a way to do this, and it means I leave the VPN switched off almost 100% of the time. It's just too much work to constantly turn it on and off whenever it breaks something.

Access Proton Mail via Proton VPN website
When logged into the Proton VPN website, it'd be nice if there was an option to access or go to that account's Proton Mail website. They share the same email address and are under the same account, but why can't I go to Proton Mail from Proton VPN? It kinda seems like a no-brainer to me.

Stealth for Linux
Develop these applications for the desktop on Linux.
It's not normal that these applications are not available on Linux for a paid client.
GNU / Linux is globally open-source, free and fight for the privacy and freedom in the digital world.Best regards

Site to Site IKEv2/IPSEC support
The Proton infrastructure should make available Site to Site IKEv2/IPSEC VPN tunnels so that users with enterprise grade firewalls can establish site to site VPNs with Proton.
This should be done with multiple peers, paths and support Dead Peer Detection and Tunnel monitoring.
This would allow users to set up multi-VPN gateways with high resilience so that all traffic from a site is securely encrypted to Proton.

use DNS with DoT (dns over tls) or DoH (dns over https)
This is critical because the most people use a DNS with their own ISP.
The DNS can leak their true location.
Your vpn solution is not complete without DNS encryption. And please don't forget Linux not just Windows, Apple or Google.

move files from free to paid account without downloading first.
Currently if you have a free account and upgrade to paid, you must download all of your files saved on vpn and upload them again. This is very time-consuming and cumbersome. It would be much better to just be able to move them from the unpaid vpn to the paid vpn.

d-Anime Store Support (Streaming Service)
d-Anime Store is a Japanese streaming service. d-anime store is blocked even when I am using Japanese server. While Proton VPN Supports many streaming service, it seems to be that d-anime store is not supported officially. It is not listed.
https://protonvpn.com/support/streaming-guide/
This would be a critical feature for many d-anime store users while using ProtonVPN.

Ubuntu Touch App
Presently in the mobile operating system of Ubuntu Touch it is a cumbersome manual process to get a VPN working. Given that such users are a privacy focused bunch, and with Volla and Fairphone offering Ubuntu Touch as a pre-installed operating system option, it might be worthwhile for Proton to make an Ubuntu Touch port of the ProtonVPN app. Shouldn't take too much change to an existing Ubuntu compatible app, and would certainly garner new Proton subscriptions as the only easily set up VPN for the OS.

Add Sub-Region Options for Profiles
"Fastest" keeps giving me servers that are thousands of kilometres away and definitely not the fastest.
You already have sub-regions in the server names; I should be able to pick them for profiles.
(It would be nice to have them on the map, too, like NordVPN does, but that's not critical. It'd probably be nice for your marketing pictures too, as you'd have more triangles for people to see.)

Can't you make it in the VPN Linux client so that the last country selection, or a selection of the countries at the top, is the one you use
Can't you make it in the VPN Linux client so that the last country selection, or a selection of the countries at the top, is the one you use often, so that you don't always have to search.
