Please improve ProtonVPN for Linux
I paid for ProtonVPN many months ago but can't use it with Linux Mint.
No killswitch, no graphical user interface (GUI ).
I paid close to $100 (Canadian) but didn't use it so far.
IIt would be great if it was as convenient for Linux as "Private Internet Access" (PIA) is :

Amazon Fire Stick / Fire TV
I had to purchase IPVanish VPN service for my Amazon Fire stick. I would like to use ProtonVPN but there's no app for it.
If ProtonVPN can be configured to work on Amazon Fire Stick / Fire TV I would gladly purchase it.11 votes -
VPN Mac
Please eliminate the use of Tunnelbrick, and make your VPN Mac friendly with a dedicated "Kill switch" to stop incoming traffic when not connected. Very important. Thank you

App-specific VPN profiles
On Android, certain apps may already be excluded from the VPN connection. Is it be possible for an opposite mode such that only specified apps use the VPN connection? Expanding further upon this could multiple profiles be active simultaneously?

ProtonVPN Pass-through and LAN Access
The OpenVPN app allows users to select specific apps that don't get tunneled as well as having an option to "Bypass VPN for local networks." I have several peer to peer apps that use the local network to connect to my computer.

Auto ReConnect Feature for VPN.
A auto reconnect feature is needed as when the VPN gets disconnected for some reason Time Out etc. it does not reconnect automatically, it has to be done manually so this is a problem if you are away from your pc or you dont notice it.

VPN: greater speed & work around country barriers
I would financially support a VPN that is faster and is able to work around country barriers, so I could use Netflix US with gift certificates from the US.

Please make VPN faster and more stable for Chinese user.
I find that HK servers usually are the fastest, but I'm afraid it's not fast enough compared to my other VPN, and it's not stable enough.
Please make your HongKong servers faster and more stable for mainland Chinese user.

Low-latency low-throughput ProtonVPN servers
Most people use VPNs in primarily two different ways.
A. Non-interactive use such as file sharing, downloads, and video streaming.
B. Interactive use such as email, web browsing, and ssh sessions. The A type of use needs high throughput but not low latency.
The B type of use needs low latency but not high throughput.
Any VPN offering that provides so-called unlimited bandwidth will soon get saturated by the A type of activity, leading to high latency, leading to B becoming impractical. This problem plagues all VPN providers who promise unlimited resources for a limited price.
The solution is to…

ProtonVPN, add VPN traffic obfuscation, like a ScrambleSuit
As internet censorship tightens across the world, governments are becoming more and more concerned about preventing the use of VPN to circumvent their restrictions.
A new internet traffic monitoring technology known as Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) has been proven to successfully block OpenVPN traffic regardless of the port used being 80, 443 or even 53. To sum up: everyone who uses the internet needs to be aware of Deep Packet Inspection. DPI is a next-generation technology capable of inspecting every byte of every traffic packet that passes through a DPI device, that means packet headers, types of applications and actual…

VPN
Well, you have launched your own VPN. Congratulations!
The big problem is that we can't test it.
I have been looking for a VPN which doesn't impact your speed.
We pay a lot of money to have a high internet speed; therefore it is frustrating to see that our bandwidth is halved when not more when we use a VPN.
I have tested either as free or as a subscription many VPN and never found one able to have a decent speed though they all promise that it will be flash speed.
You offer some otions (High and Highest), now…12 votes
