it's awesome !! We should be able to choose to sync our photos on mobile data or wifi instead of wifi only.

I think this is a critical feature for the android app. MEGA has this nailed down and I'm eager to switch to Proton from MEGA but I can't without this feature. It goes beyond photos too. On MEGA, I set specific folders that it syncs all contained files including documents, videos etc.

Backing up photos is cool, but I would love to see support for all file types. Either integration in proton client, or integration into an app called FolderSync. I have Google photos backing up photos and videos, but when my phone was stuck in a boot loop and I reset it, and I could not obtain my files because the SD card was encrypted, I lost everything that wasn't photo or video. I was not aware my SD could not be accessed anymore, because the encryption key changed after phone reset.

Hi, I would love to see a sync function in Proton Drive for Android phones for syncing between for example photoalbum on the phone and Proton Drive.

Please provide for an auto-upload feature of custom folders (like your DCIM folder)

William, I agree with you. It would be nice to have offline access to selected files when the Internet is not available. Also, the synchronization of mobile photos is important to me. And the quality, by the way, too. Precisely for the purpose of maintaining quality, I use photo upscaler free https://depositphotos.com/upscaler.html This is a cool feature that allows you to enlarge images without losing quality. For me, this is an important point. And this platform also offers many services related not only to photos, but also to images, videos and music.

I am waiting this to replace Google Photo!

Same for me: this is pretty mandatory functionality to migrate from our current cloud services (OneDrive, Nextcloud self hosted). The lack of this kind of functionality is holding me back to switch to Proton with both my family users, as well as my businesses.

This is currently the only thing stopping me subscribing to premium plans. I would ditch icloud in a heartbeat.

This is my only hitch to ditching sync.com and going all proton.
