We forgot to try one thing:

sudo make a linux client.

This feature have almost 5600 votes and still not on the proton team agenda ???? How is it possible ??? Seems critical for many of us !

I'm upgrading to "critical" now that I'm a paying customer. Nothing would streamline moving files between NTFS and EXT4 more than this!

This is probably the only proton app that actually needs an app instead of using the web. I cannot manually sync files. We need an app like MEGA has for Fedora/Ubunttu. Without it proton drive is basically useless. I am currently using a free account until a drive for linux comes out. Only then I can consider subscribing

All Proton products need to work with Linux by default.

Is there any update from Proton on this ?

Privacy by default describes linux and open source so we need to support that too

I'm new to Proton and love it so far but as of 4/19/2024 no Proton Drive support for Ubuntu is unreal. Its a show stopper for me!!!

This is very important as I use Linux for all personal files. Managing tons of files in the web UI is much more difficult than it is to have them available locally in Linux desktop

I just want to +1. Long time Proton user and the only reason I am not using Drive is because it does not have a Linux client or any other [non-hacky] way of syncing files with the native filesystem.
