Linux Client
Proton Drive really needs the ability to sync desktop files automatically. This post focuses on a Linux client for Proton Drive.

It's disappointing to see applications for Windows, Mac and iOS and nothing for linux. You don't even need to support every distro on the planet -- just a flatpack, a bridge with no UI, or some minimal Ubuntu support, the community can take it from there. Or perhaps you're assuming "we'll figure it out", reverse engineering the other apps (because that's how it usually goes). Come on.

I have to pay for another service for this. I shouldn't have to. Even if it's just something I can manually configure using something like rsync I wouldn't care. Otherwise you can keep upping my storage but it's useless to me. I can't sit around uploading gigs and gigs from a web browser. Especially files I always want current in cloud storage.

I use linux daily. ALL of my data are on the Linux box. I'm being forced to use OneDrive for essential (minimal...) sharing until such time as I can use Proton for all my data. I only created the onedrive account because I've been waiting for Proton to do this. I'm happy with the windows app, now we need it for Linux.

I'm waiting for any hints of a Linux client to make a year-long purchase during the Black Friday season. I'm pretty sure atleast dozens of others are also waiting for the same.

I'm a paying customer and it really surprised me that a privacy focused company doesn't have a Linux client for this

Can't believe this is not a thing yet. Linux is my daily driver for privacy and switched to proton for the same reasons!!

This is now a basic feature for any drive service. Please add if possible.

Can only second this. I try to switch completely to Proton, but the missing Linux client for Drive is stopping me currently.

shocked and disappointed that this isn't a thing, especially after seeing chatter about this from an entire year ago... pretty sure I could implement this in a small number of weeks if I were a developer/engineer for Proton :\

I consider this a rather huge gap in Proton's offerings.

Yes, as a full Proton subscriber and user this would be amazing. It would basically allow me to cancel Dropbox, save that money and have everything in the Proton family!.
