Drive Linux
Please please release a linux sync client. I am a paying user and this entire feature is almost completely unusable for me. Please remind yourself where you come from and release also features for the community that supports you from the early proton times!

I've gone "all in" with Ubuntu and the Proton Suite. I find Proton Mail and Pass for Linux just as good as what I used in Win10. VPN could use some polish. I am glad to have it though.

I am using the Proton App for Linux Mint, but now it tells me to download a new version. “A important update is available. To continue using the app, please update it to the latest version.”
On the website versions for Windows and Mac, Android and iOS are available. When will the updated Linux version be available? And will it have a drive sync option? -

I need Proton Drive for Linux (as a Flatpak, or, if possible, a native package for apt rpm and pacman)

I totally agree, I went on Proton with all members of my family to escape GAFAM like most people here I guess. Linux is generating increasing interest from many government agencies, companies, and citizens in Europe. Why isn't there a Proton Drive application for Linux that's at least on par with Proton VPN or Bridge?

Linux support is really needed - I still have to use dropbox. I cant understand why this is still not a Linux App

I support the request for Linux, but it likely makes sense to ask for an AppImage so that they're not targeting specific distros.

Migrating off of windows. Icedrive has a competent AppImage, Dropbox has a janky featureless shell of its windows offering, and Proton just has nothing.
Drive is my second priority of all of Proton's offerings, behind email itself. Here's hoping windows 11 drives enough users away that Linux can get more attention in the future.
Thanks!

This issue is prompting me to set up a home server with NextCloud and will be leaving Proton ecosystem when that's ready.
