1 click to get back to root level of Proton Drive on iOS
When navigating in Proton Drive in iOS, sometimes I just want to go right back to the top(root) level of the drive and have to keep clicking on the back arrow to navigate up to the root.
Would be really nice if I could just click on the 'folder' icon on the bottom toolbar to bring me right back to the top level and use the back arrow for going up one level at a time.
An alternative UI would be to click and hold on the back arrow to go to the top level but this might be less…

I am wanting to know what Proton's plans are if the EU goes through with plans to make Proton scan files before encrypting them.
I use Proton because of the strong privacy laws in the countries where Proton has servers. I know that the first step the EU is discussing is making Proton scan files before saving them for child pornography. But we all know once they have that they will have you scanning files for anything they find objectionable. Will Proton move its servers to a secure country if that law passes?

Option to remove Windows Explorer integration
The windows Explorer integration for Proton is pretty good overall - but still, I prefer to have my drive apps be as unobtrusive as possible.
Is there any chance there can be a toggle in the settings of the Proton Drive desktop app to remove Explorer integration?

Backup Windows system folders
For those of us that use Steam for gaming, or any other platform where local save data is saved to program files or program files x86 it would be nice if those files can be added to the Proton Drive app. Some of the games I have save character data to these directories and I am unable to add them to the Drive app as it indicates it is a 'system folder that can't be synced'. I know Steam has their own cloud backup for save files, but this would be better, at least for me.

Optional One-way or Two-Way synchronization direction
I want to use ProtonDrive on Windows for backing up my data.
In order not to loose my local data I would suggest additional options to improve the synchronization process.1. One direction sync (send files to Proton servers only) vs two-way sync.
Now local files cannot be deleted when data from the Proton servers is removed (by accident or intentionally)
This also would enable to link the synchronization to an already existing backed up computer on the Proton Servers. In my case I got a duplication of saved data after I re-installed the Proton Drive Windows app.2. Propagate

Folder specific layouts
Each folder should have its own layout. A folder should remember the layout I set it to, and use that layout when opened later.

Change Drive Password System
My phone is used by many people including my friends. So they know the password of my phone. And because the drive has a device lock system, anyone can easily access it. So it would be better if you use a separate password system on the drive. thank you

Show previews for RAW image files
As a Photographer, its so important to be able to see previews of my RAW files in my cloud backup, it's currently impossible to find the photos I need easily, which makes it really hard for me to justify moving away from Google Drive, which I'm keen to do.

Root access to proton drive similar to Dropbox/Onedrive instead of "My files"
Please change this for a better file experience. Many of us map our files, and this current form is messy. Also "Files" should have been capitalized, this looks ridiculous.

Choose photo sync folder per device
Hello,
It would be good to allow the user to select the folder where Photos are synced to for each device, as done by other services.
This would be particularly useful when a user possesses more than one mobile device and wishes to keep the photos of each of those devices separate from the others.
Example:
Mobile 1: PhotoFolder1
Mobile 2: PhotoFolder2

Mirror device
Create a single-click "Mirror Entire Device" button to enable backing up an exact copy of an entire device (phone, laptop, etc.) to Proton Drive.

Website backup functionality
Website backup possibility.
I work as a Wordpress developer and would love to see Proton Drive as a backup possibility for my customers. Most of the major Backup Plug-ins like Duplicator Pro or Updraft Plus have direct connection to Google Drive, and Dropbox. It would be great to have Proton Drive as an option. Set number of times a shared file can be accessed
I want to be able to share a file with a password that can only be used once.
My motivation for this is that it greatly helps detect when a breach has happened because the person you're trying to share with won't be able to access the file as somebody got there before them.

When uploading a large number of files, don't upload files already present
Specifically for the android app. When you upload a number of files, some of those files may fail to upload properly. When you upload a 2nd time, it may be difficult to see which files failed on the first try. The app should see if there are files to upload and ask what to do. Always overwrite would upload everything whether to was there in the protondrive or not. Never overwrite would only upload files not already on protondrive. Only upload changed files would only upload files that weren't already there, or if already there, did not match in terms…

Add ability to Copy, Paste, Better Sorts, Like, Rotate, etc
We need some basic features like CUT/COPY/PASTE. Would like to be able to sort using other metadata besides the upload/modified date - for photos, creation date is essential for sorting. What about tagging/liking/favoriting/♥️ photos? Not having the ability to scroll through photos and easily view the detailed metadata will be a dealbreaker at some point. Basic photo editing tools like at least ‘rotate’ would be great. It really needs some of these simple features to make it usable.

Sync iPad OS file changes
Presently the Windows client of Proton Drive allows launch, change and save of files. That function is not active in the OS for the ipad, where any changes made to a file are not saved to the drive file. This means I can make, save and leave a file thinking its updated and when I return to it, the changes are missing.

Reaction tracker button

I'd like to suggest a valuable addition to enhance user engagement: the introduction of a "Reaction Tracker" button for folders. Here's a brief overview of how this feature could function:
