Ser sort per folder
I would love to have the functionality to set sorting on folder level instead of one size fits alls.
Maybe I want root folder to be sorted by name but in /invoices/ I want the folder to be sorted by date.

Distractionfree writing. Ability to add Chapters and see titles in side column.

could you add distraction free writing in docs? Google Docs has this option, would love to have it here. Full screen writing would be a big plus.

Low Resolution Place Holders For Photos On Phone
I don't know how feasible this is, but I would love to leave iCloud photo backup entirely for PD, but iCloud allows me to offload all photos and videos into the cloud leaving behind a low resolution thumbnail placeholder so I can still look through all my photos, while still saving memory. Its a life saver for phone storage, but also very useful as I want access to all my photos. Can this be done!? I would contend one of the most prominent reasons why people resort to photo backups is to save space!

Name, Modified, & Size Filters Specific to Each Page, w/ Memory
I often like to sort the contents of some folders by "name", and some by "modified" date.
1. It would be great to have a global, and folder level memory, such that you can have some folders remain sorted by "modified" date, even if you apply "name globally".
2. Secondly, for some reason, "modified" only seems to pertain to the end item its self, instead of the contents. For instance, if I have a 5 folders and within one of them I edit a Doc., the folder order will not change even though the contents of one of them has…5 votes -
Sanitize Shared Photos
It would be nice to be able to optionally sanitize photos I share with someone. I do want my own photos to include the full metadata available, and sometimes I do want to share that with someone. But sometimes I want to share a photo with someone and I want to know they are not holding onto all the metadata my phone included with it. So it would be nice if sharing photos with someone also had an option to share a version of that photo that has the metadata sanitized.

Add visibility for who drive folders are shared with
Currently it's not possible for someone to see which folders in a file tree are shared with whom.
For example if I have the folder structure:Ludlow (shared with Amy)
Documents (shared with Burt)
Important Documents (share with Chris)
It is not possible for me to open the folder "Important documents" and see that it has been shared with Chris, Burt, and Amy, I only see that it has been shared with Chris even though Burt and Amy also have access to it as the parent folders have been shared with them.

In Android/iOs and Windows Desktop Drive App, add slideshow feature with temporized random presentation and transition effects. Further, the possibility to show in some way Album as folders in Windows File Explorer.

Start Proton Drive Windows app minimized to tray
Add a command line option to start the Proton Drive Windows app minimized to the system tray, with no window popping up after starting, E.g. --background or --start-in-tray.
Equivalent of starting the Proton Drive app on Windows and immediately closing the window, so that it sits in the system tray without having a window opened at the desktop.
The command "C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Local\Programs\Proton\Drive\ProtonDrive.exe --start-in-tray" could then be used to start the app in the background from scripts.

It would be cool to have a Proton Drive widget on iOS. We could, for example, see the photos from the Drive.

Select AND view photos
Weeding out a bunch of photos is easily done be selecting multiple photos and clicking delete. Nice.
But as you are selecting, it would be really nice to be able to open a photo for viewing. Currently you cannot view a photo if any are selected.
I would very much like to be able to open a photo for viewing while having a selection, and having the selection retained while viewing the photo. Maybe even having the option to add/remove the currently viewed photo to the selection.
This would also be very helpful when selecting for an album.5 votes -
Sharing .vcf cards - Unpleasant UI experience
- When sharing a .vcf contact file via Proton Drive, the preview page expands the entire vCard text, making it hard for non‑technical recipients to locate the download button.
- Desired behavior: Show a generic file‑icon with a prominent “Download” button (similar to how PDFs or images are presented), or automatically trigger a download for pure data files.
- Impact: Improves usability for sharing contacts, event invites, and other vCard‑based data with friends, family, or business partners.

Notification of changes
I'd appreciate a feature that notifies me when something is changed in a share folder. For example, I get a message when someone has uploaded pictures

See "Backing up items..." list
I see the "Backing up" notification on both the phone and in the app when it's working, but currently it's just a notification. I think it would be very useful if we could see which items the app is backing up - just the file name or a preview.

I can't see my MacBook in the Computers section of Proton Drive
I can't see my MacBook in the Computers section of Proton Drive, and I can't select and sync the folders I want. Google Drive had this feature, and I heard it's available in the Windows version of Proton Drive. Please add this feature to Linux and macOS as soon as possible.

Star rating on shared files - and make the rating visible for all users
I am a photographer and I want to use Proton Drive to send preview files to my clients, by sharing the folders, so that they can make their selections of images they want edited. Currently there is no star rating on files, and this is more or less a deal breaker for me.
Keep in mind I am not talking about photos in the "Photos" part of Proton Drive. I am talking about the "Computers" part. I am making a folder on my Computer, and this shows up under Computers - My Computer Name - the folder I have called…

Proton Spreadsheets Validation Rules, such as Dropdown, should have Conditional Formatting on the same sidebar
Currently, if I want to have a colored Dropdown with
Option 1
Option 2and I want Option 1 to have color Green and option 2 to have color Red,
I need to:
1. Do data validation, select Dropdown and insert the values.
2. Do conditional formatting, select "exact text" and insert each of the values.If I want to expand or move the conditional formatting such as by CTRL+C and CTRL+V, conditional formatting must be done separately.
I believe this is simple to implement and greatly improves usability.

Currently scan on ios is limited to saving as a pdf. It would be great to add jpeg as an option.
Would it also be possible to create a different default name for saved files?
