  1. Email files to Proton Drive

    I'm currently storing most of my data in Dropbox, but I would love to move away if Proton Drive could do the same thing. The one hangup I'm having is getting files from email to storage, particularly those submitted via a form on a website. Dropbox allows me to BCC a unique address and automatically save any attachments into a folder.

    Alternatively, tighter integration with Proton Mail would be helpful (e.g., setting up a filter or action to save attachments).

  2. Proton drive for Qualcomm processors

    Hello,
    because the number of PCs based on ARM processors is growing is it possible to have a version of Proton Drive that runs on the ARM architecture? Thanks.

  3. Encrypt desktop application (lock / auto lock)

    Desktop application does not currently have lock ability. There should be a way to lock the drive. We should also have the ability to auto lock after a while.

  4. A Folder's date should be the same as the NEWEST object it contains

    Whenever a file is uploaded to a folder (or a sub-folder created), the dates of all the folders up-stream ought to be updated, so that it's easy to find things if we're going by date.

    Let's suppose that I have the following folder structure:

  5. Enable Auto Sync on MacOS

    The instructions (with link below) are clear. There is no misunderstanding. However, I want a feature that turns on auto-sync so that I do not have to manually "Download now". I actually want this on ALL platforms (to be able to select what is always synchronized and what is not). I can do this on my own Nextcloud implementation. It should be standard for Proton Drive.

  6. Add support for importing Open Document Text (.odt) format to the Docs editor

    Support importing .odt files into the Docs editor (and exporting). Its an open file format used by LibreOffice.

  7. more space! we should have the option to have 1TB minimum or even up to 4TB.

    500GB is nowhere near sufficient.
    I want the privacy and security proton drive has, but it should really be 1TB at minumim, and we should have the option to add more.
    Way more.

  8. Sync specific folders only

    Would be nice to be able to sync only specific folders. I have PD at home and would like to have it at work as well, but I do not want my personal files to be on the business computer. Just sync a work folder. Other cloud services have this, so would be nice to have as well.

  9. Phone Photo Sync

    Similar to the new ProtonDrive backup feature, a sync option would be nice so we don’t need to delete photos from multiple locations.

    You could have a hybrid solution as well.
    Daily sync with monthly full backup for example

  11. Sending "Share" Invite/Link with one of the "second" Mail-Addresses instead of Main Mail-Address/Account for privacy reasons

    When I want to share some documents on my proton drive with external People/Contractors it sends it with the alias and address of the "Main" Proton Account/Mail. I would like to have the option to send the Invite/Share with one of the second Mail-Addresses/Aliases I have access to for privacy reasons. I don't want to compromise my Main Account/Address/Alias just to share some files.

  14. Add a timeline for photos in proton drive

    At the moment it is super difficult to access old photos in proton drive. Sometimes you have to scroll down for several minutes. A timeline at the side where you can quickly scroll to a rough date (like in google photos) would help immensely.

  18. Background Sync and Resume Failed Sync

    It would be great to have the App to upload or backup the files while running in the background. At the moment is you upload any files (not the photos backup) the moment you switch apps your backup upload fails and you are forced to start over or have the App Running on top of the others.

  20. Unsupported file types opened as text files

    When trying to open a file such as a .bib bibliography that is not supported for online editing, the option to open as a text file would be very useful.
    Similar to how you would open it in notepad ++
