Import Outlook calendar w/ categories
Once you incorporate invite attendees, categories, time zones, and yes I like military time option, allow import from Outlook of categories and caledar.

Allow clicking of Month view's week numbers to open Week view
Like when clicking on Month view's day numbers (or the Week view's date/day headers) to go to the Day view, allow the Month view's week numbers to go to the Week view.
Note: Month view's week numbers are enabled via Settings > General > Layout (on Desktop).

Adding contacts or participants without having and sending e-mail
1) My agenda is private. So why should calendar automatically send invitation? It is no option: when I deny, the participant cannot be saved.
2) When I want to book an appointment with a company, this company will receive an e-mail??? For example: my dentist.
3) Why calendar demands my contact to have an e-mail address? Maybe because of the automatic invitation... But I have lot's of contacts without knowing their e-mail address. Do people without having e-mail address not count any more?
This is so strange... It's how Google Agenda works and Apple also. I do not like to…

Long load time for Android App (1min+)
Wondering if it's a bug or inevitable due to encryption. Calendar is fairly empty so not related to size. Thanks!

I would like to start the weekly calendar on Thursday because that's my payday.
I would like to be able to start the weekly calendar on any day of the week. In my case, I would like to start the week on Thursday because of my payday and expense tracking. Thank you very much.

Notifications
I'm just wondering why there's still no email notifications, or better yet a section within the email app to notify you of events with the ability to manage your calendar from there too. The first option certainly isn't complicated.
I searched other users' posts and found multiple instances with numerous comments all saying similar things, dating back 6+ months ago. Why hasn't it been done? This would make life so much more efficient.

need smaller font for month view
I prefer month view in Calendar but font size is too large: I can see times and only a few letters of descriptions of events. Yes, I can change settings in browser to make text smaller but then EVERYTHING is smaller, on all sites, and I don't want that. Ideally I'd be able to set an independent font size for Calendar and also for ProtonMail. I'd want Calendar fonts to be smaller (esp in month view) but ProtonMail fonts to be bigger (especially in message editor). This is a big problem for me.

Accept .ics files that are invitations
When importing a .ics invitation sent from MS outlook, a popup says "Your file "calendar.ics" is an invitation and cannot be imported."

make each day a little bigger
It would be helpful if each day (the entire month) was a little larger, so we could see more events on each day.

Sharing calendar with Google Calendars without details to protect privacy
It would be great to have an option to share a calendar without the details such that it is only possible to see which time slots are busy.
I have to use Google Calendar for work. For myself and my colleagues it is important to see in my work calendar when I am available. It does not matter if certain time slots are occupied by work related or private events. Therefore my private events need to be in my work calendar. However, for privacy reasons I would prefer if I don't have to reveal the details of my private events…

Allow event description to spill to more lines (desktop)
In week view (desktop) only a certain number of characters of the description appear. Even if I extend the length of the event, the rest of the description does not appear. I saw this because I had three events over a two-week period that start out with the same words but end differently. I can't tell them apart.

Make reminders more obvious
Current reminders are way too easy to miss. A tiny icon in the notifications bar is not enough. Even a toast message might be missed.
Please add a small window reminder in the middle of the screen (Android) that doesn't go away until I actively dismiss it. It can be an option if you want. But when I have a reminder it needs to be really obvious.

No password to enter to access Proton Calendar when already logued on ProtonMail
It is such a oain in the ass to have to re-enter the password (and the auth code in my case) when I am already working on Prontomail and I want to access to Proton Calendar ou Proton Contacts.

When clicking the calendar to add an event: option to open the "More options" view by default
Just like the title reads. An option to always open the "More options" by default instead of having to make it a 2-click process.
I like to be aware of the notifications that are set for the chosen Calendar as I create the event, and the smaller initial view does not reveal this information, thus I always press "More options".

Allow invites for recurring meetings with complex rules
Currently you do not allow us to accept invites for recurring meetings with "complex" rules.
From a human interpretation perspective the rules are not really that complex and you even do not bother to implement the simplest.
Please remove this limitation.

Default Notifications for imported Events
I've imported some events via a .ics File and have a default notification set for full day events (1 day before).
The imported events does not have the default notification and i would have to set it for every event by hand.
It would be nice to have the option to set default notifications for imported events. (Google Calendar has this functionality i.e.)

Proton Calendar - edit specific event (from a repeating events)
When I have an event that is repeating itself, I want to change a specific event from the repeat.
For example:
event namedworkthat repeating all days of the week from 8am to 3pm.
In a specific date work is until 1pm just once, and I cant change it right now..3 votes
