Improved navigation with spacebar
I mostly use a laptop that doesn't have dedicated page up/down keys, so I usually use the space bar to navigate down a bunch and shift+space to navigate back. This work in most websites, particularly those that have long form text.
Reading emails is a bit annoying because even though space bar works as expected, shift+space selects the current email. This selection hides what I was reading and shows "You selected 1 conversation from this folder". It would be very helpful to have shift+space working as page up instead.3 votes -
Visibility of calendar event pop-up
For info, this is happening when accessing the calendar on firefox on my window's laptop. If a calendar event is near the bottom of the screen, when I click on the event for more info the pop-up is cutoff at the bottom of the screen. Ideally the location of the popup would depend not only on where the event is on the screen, but also on the screen resolution (or whatever the relevant feature is here). Option to hide calendars from widget only
It would be useful if I could have the Calendar app on Android show all the calendars that I have subscribed to when I open the app but have the option to choose which ones to show on the Calendar widget.

iOS Calendar option to show the event title in the month view
The iOS calendar does not show the event titles in the month view like the android version (and many other calendar apps). It currently just shows a purple dot with an agenda for the day which you have to select the day to see what events are on that day.

Increase size limit of subscribed (synchronized) calendars
I have to recreate subscribed Google calendars every few months because they get to big to synchronize.

Show day of the week in small calendar view in mail
Within ProtonMail there is a small window on the sidebar that shows calendar view. It is great, but it is lacking the day of the week at the top. To make sure I'm on the right day, lets say Wednesday, I have to click the calendar view currently

Can my calendar email reminders include the event name, time, location, and details? This way I can check my event reminder in my proton email app, especially since there is no calendar app on iOS yet?

Make it more explicidly clear what the actual day is. Now it's a little, not so catchy square arrount the date. I would like it to be easier to notice between all my entries.

Clickable links on mobile descriptions
Auto-generated Google Meet links are not clickable in the Proton Calendar iOS app description. This oversight makes joining meetings from mobile in a timely manner very challenging, especially since select description information cannot even be copied. This simple change should be critical else now commonplace video calls on the app are little other than generic reminders, if one is even configured, and undoubtedly will drive new users back to other apps upon first impression. Some of us will stick it out to support ProtonMail, but many cannot afford to be late to another meeting simply because this app renders links…

Proton Calendar Event Drag Feature
One UX feature that would be really nice is the ability to drag an edge of an event to make it go over multiple days. Right now the only way is to manually edit the event.

Variable default times for calendar entries
Would like to be able to set default time of an appointment in a calendar to 25 min, not just the predetermined 30 min or 60 min. Lots of people use pomodoro technique to study or work. The pomodoro technique prescribes meetings/work sessions of 25 min long.

create events from invites into a specific calendar based on the recipient email
When receiving a calendar invite, the corresponding event should be created in the calendar linked to that specific email account/address. it currently goes to the default calendar.
For example, in a simple common scenario with 2 calendars : one personal + one work, your personal invites will be added to your personal (default) calendar whereas the invites received on your work email will be created in your work calendar.
If no calendar matches the email address that received the invite, the default calendar should be used

Compress calendar to fit 24 hours vertically.
In a browser on a monitor with 1440 vertical resolution (fairly common these days), I can fit ~23 hours and I am left with a scrollbar that scrolls just 1 hour. This is very annoying.
It would be great if the calendar automatically resized things to fit all 24 hours on one page, particularly if it is really close already. Alternatively, consider making the default fit a day on a standard sized monitor in a browser with a "normal" amount of chrome (address bar, tabs, bookmark bar).

Customization options for Android Calendar Widget
Dear Proton team, I would love if there were customization options for the Calendar Widget, such as (from most to least important):
– Display days without events in the list (seeing that the next two days are free of events positively affects my mental health and I bet I'm not alone with that one)
– Display past events from the current day (this is handy if the calendar doubles as a to-do list)
– Change color scheme to Dark Mode (or at least automatically use same color scheme as Calendar App)
– Set how many weeks/months you want it to…

On the fence users (using free accounts to trial Proton products & services) have more options in the pro-privacy e2ee market space now. Skiff for example already offers a free e2ee calendar with options to choose various colors. Proton needs to get smart and offer the same value at minimum. My bet is that many (millions maybe) people holding back from trialing proton because the feature set just doesn't measure up to Google calendar and now not even Skiff Calendar.. More color options in the free accounts will only increase your user base esp if you build out a task…

Add (limited) smtp submission to private plans (ex: to send email from a private nextcloud or blog)
I'd like to receive notification emails via my nextcloud private server or my blog. Currently smtp submission (https://proton.me/support/smtp-submission) is only available for Business or Enterprise customers, which is a steep upgrade from 4.99 to 12.99.
I understand you might want to keep the offerings separate, possibly only allow 3 services to connect for private plans?

Custom color for bar indicating current time in week view
I use a blue color for my main calendar and it's really hard to see the bar that indicates the current time of day in the week view as it's almost the same color. Can you add the ability to change the color of this bar?
