Hide calendars from list
When you have a calendar that you want to keep for historical reasons but don't need to see it every day in your calendar view, you should be able to hide it. Google Calendar has this function.
Right now I have a lot of disabled calendars that only takes up vertical space that could be hidden completely.

Add external calendar via URL with credentials
I would like to add an external calendar to Proton Calendar. However, this calendar needs authentication (Username and Password). Adding this Calendar in Apple's native calendar app is no problem. A pop-up comes up asking for auth.
Would be great if I could add such external calendar sources to Proton Cal. Thanks!

Prioritize Calendars
Give priorities to created calendars.
If i use the "month view", and have a calendar for all my working hours, one for birthdays, one for private events etc. it would be nice if i could give my work calendar a first prio, so its always shown at the top, then my private events and then birthdays. so the events dont get all mixed and jumping all over the place, when doing an overview of the month.9 votes -

It would be great if the Proton Calendar app could send full screen notifications like the Samsung Calendar does.

View Only "This" Calendar and "Show All" calendars
It would be nice to have the option to click on a certain calendar and hide all other calendars.
Additionally, it would be nice to have a button that "Shows all" calendars.

Google Family Calendars support with no Secret address in iCal format
unlike standard calendars on google, family calendars to not have a secret URL address in ical format to sync in Proton Calendar. Can you add integration that will make this work please?

It would be great if there was a keyboard shortcut to switch between calendar and mail on the desktop app
I would love a keyboard shortcut to allow the user to switch between calendar and mail. Ideally, it would be a single keystroke for simplicity.

Automatically create event on iOS mobile when event is created on desktop
Currently, when an event is created on desktop, the event isn't created on iOS mobile until the app is opened on the phone.
The following use case recreates the problem on iOS
- Close Proton Calendar mobile app on phone
- Open Proton Calendar via a browser on a separate device such as a laptop
- Create an event for 30 minutes in the future with a reminder 15 min in advance of the event
- On the phone, when the time of the event / reminder occurs, a notification never renders on the screen at the appropriate time

Distinguish recurring events
This is a minor quality-of-life improvement, but one that I - and hopefully others - would find immensely useful. I would like to request the addition of a visual indicator in the main calendar view if an event is a recurring one (Outlook does this with a circular double-arrow symbol). If one instance of a recurring event is altered, that symbol becomes crossed-out, but remains visible as to distinguish between recurring events, altered recurring event entries, and single events.

Sync blocked time slots in third party calenders
I am missing a function that allows me to integrate my (private/family) calendar from Proton into an external calendar (at work) in order to recognise appointment collisions. I don't want to keep my private appointments in my work calendar and I don't want to disclose all the details of my private calendar in my work calendar.
As a minimum, it would be sufficient if I could only see the blocked time slots in the external calendar. However, it would also be worth considering being able to set the permitted content on the interface itself.

Mini Calendar for macOS Menu Bar
Getting the option to display a tiny mini calendar in macOS's menu bar would be neat. Something like Itsycal (www.mowglii.com/itsycal) displaying the days of a month as well as the events of say the upcoming 7 days.

Calendar view starting today
The week view currently shows the whole week with all past days visible.
Looking at the calendar, the past days are mostly useless, and you have to click through to the next week to see the next one.
For planning and previewing future events, it would be good to have today's day displayed first and then the following 3/5/7 (depending on user settings).

Ability to select multiple entries and days to move as a block rather than one entry at a time for use for use when an unexpected event happens and screws up my calendar

(1) Create tasks to check off, (2) Turn mail into tasks or events in Calendar, (3) Create a task list to hold tasks not yet assigned a date
A process flow for task management where I can quickly create tasks and add those tasks to the calendar and check them off either on the calendar or on the task list. There needs to be a single task list. I need to be able to turn mail into tasks and also move mail to the calendar as a task or an event. This is a combination of Google, Microsoft, and other workflow calendars.

Creating invites in a shared calendar
I created a shared family calendar and made multiple people able to edit it. I was surprised to find when trying to invite others to an event on that calendar it explicitly warns- Creating invites in a shared calendar is not allowed. Why not?

Marker for the first time the calendar is scheduled
If I open the schedule, then I have a stacked calendar, and I am confused when this calendar was created.
In the second case, when sharing a calendar, the peer who receives the calendar will see when the calendar was created.
