1. Default Calendar

   When we have many calendars and we want to spend several events in a specific one, deactivating all the calendars except the one we want to work at that time, when we add a new event the one we left active becomes the default so that we can save time by choosing what we want again.

2. Allow a event double-tap to pull-up/pop to that event's edit panel...

   On, say, the 'month' view: Allow a double-tap of an event to pop to the event's edit panel. A quick and nice enhancement, easier 4 U 2 rollout while new actions are in process. So, what do you think of this?

3. Changed Time Zone: All Events Are Now At Wrong Time

   I've moved residences and am now living in a different time zone. Every event in my calendar is now showing the wrong time. I had the option set to "Ask to Update Time Zone" and told it to do so when prompted. It reset the time zone on all the events but didn't change the times of those events. So, now, every event that should take place (for example) at 0800 hrs is set up to show at 1000 hrs. I need my personal events to show up at the same time regardless of locality.

   Then, on my phone, I manually changed my time zone back to what it originally was and had it reset the time zone back to that. I turned off the option to "Ask to Update..." and set the time zone back to the correct local time. Now, on the phone, the events occur at the correct time. BUT, their time zone is wrong (it's the time zone where I created them). So, if I invite people to the event, it shows up with the wrong time.

   Worse, looking at my calendar on my computer instead of my phone, the calendar shows the correct time zone but the events still have the wrong times.

   And, worse still, there's no easy way to fix this. I can't grab all events and say change the time zone. Since there's no List View, I can't go through the unique events and manually change the time zone for each one. So, I'll have to go through each event on the calendar (including "duplicate" ones from recurring events (since I won't remember I've already edited them) and change them that way. But, even more worse, editing the time zone brings up a list of ALL time zones around the world. So, I can't even bring the list up and select the time zone two lines up from the existing one. I have to scroll up through pages of worthless time zones in different countries to find the one I want.

   So, what I'm reduced to is going through a calendar view of duplicated events for at least a year on the calendar, creating a new event of each event, and then deleting the old one. That's just crazy. All I need is the ability to change all events' time zones and shift their times so they display at the correct local time.

5. Recurring Calendar Events: Delete Options

   I'd like to delete a recurring event whilst away on a business trip/holiday, however, would like the recurring event to resume after x days away.

   Currently, the two ways of doing this is to either 'Delete this event' for each consecutive day for x days (very frustrating when you have multiple recurring events) or to 'Delete this and following events', then re-create the recurring event from the day I want my schedule to resume (again, very long when you have multiple recurring events).

   The 'Delete this and following events' feature has been a great help for historical reference purposes so far, so thank you.

7. Add option to colour-code events (Made to compile multiple similar requests)

   Feature: Add the option to colour-code individual events.

   I think the demand for this feature may be higher than it seems, as votes are fragmented over different feature requests.

9. Proton Calendar read & WRITE links

   For the Proton Unlimited subscription I would like the option to create a shareable link for my calendar that is not read only, I use that link to sync with my gnome calendar app (or Evolution mail) (Linux w/ Gnome DE) and it's VERY annoying because I am forced to always keep an open tab in my browser with the Proton Calendar alongside the email client because I can't make changes to my calendar directly via the email client.

10. Allow Deleting the Default "my Calendar" to allow for 3 shared calendars on the Free Tier

    Feature Request: Allow deleting the default "My Calendar" to allow for
    a free user to add 3 shared calendars. Currently you can only add 2, as the default "My calendar", will always take up one of the 3 slots. Obviously the free tier cannot share their own calendar and that is fine, but I have 3 calendars I would like to sync with my wife, and she can only add 2 due to this issue.

    I need to be able to share 3 calendars with my wife which is at the current limit. I understand you need subscriptions to sustain your business model, and I'm happy to upgrade to proton unlimited if that means I can share all 3 (or more) calendars with my wife as an option as well.

    Hopefully this issue can get fixed, as it is currently a large deal breaker for me.

11. Improved navigation with spacebar

    I mostly use a laptop that doesn't have dedicated page up/down keys, so I usually use the space bar to navigate down a bunch and shift+space to navigate back. This work in most websites, particularly those that have long form text.
    Reading emails is a bit annoying because even though space bar works as expected, shift+space selects the current email. This selection hides what I was reading and shows "You selected 1 conversation from this folder". It would be very helpful to have shift+space working as page up instead.

12. Visibility of calendar event pop-up

    For info, this is happening when accessing the calendar on firefox on my window's laptop. If a calendar event is near the bottom of the screen, when I click on the event for more info the pop-up is cutoff at the bottom of the screen. Ideally the location of the popup would depend not only on where the event is on the screen, but also on the screen resolution (or whatever the relevant feature is here). If it can't be fixed for all browsers / screens in an easy way, an alternative would be to enable click and drag on the pop-up.

13. 1 Day Alerts for Events

    When entering an event we can choose: At the Time of Event, 10, 20, 30 minutes, 1 Hour, 1 Week or Custom. There isn't an option for "One Day", which is rather bizarre to my mind. Of course you can go into "Custom" every time you set up a new event but that is a royal pain in the ... er... neck! So much so I made the effort to come here! This a really simple upgrade Proton... pretty please!

14. iOS Calendar option to show the event title in the month view

    The iOS calendar does not show the event titles in the month view like the android version (and many other calendar apps). It currently just shows a purple dot with an agenda for the day which you have to select the day to see what events are on that day.

15. Increase size limit of subscribed (synchronized) calendars

    I have to recreate subscribed Google calendars every few months because they get to big to synchronize.
    It would be great if you could increase the size, even if it counts against my accounts storage quota.

    Within ProtonMail there is a small window on the sidebar that shows calendar view. It is great, but it is lacking the day of the week at the top. To make sure I'm on the right day, lets say Wednesday, I have to click the calendar view currently

17. Clickable links on mobile descriptions

    Auto-generated Google Meet links are not clickable in the Proton Calendar iOS app description. This oversight makes joining meetings from mobile in a timely manner very challenging, especially since select description information cannot even be copied. This simple change should be critical else now commonplace video calls on the app are little other than generic reminders, if one is even configured, and undoubtedly will drive new users back to other apps upon first impression. Some of us will stick it out to support ProtonMail, but many cannot afford to be late to another meeting simply because this app renders links as plain, though not even copy-able, text. 18. Report deficiencies on Proton's calendar and request improvements

    Dear Proton support team,

    I am an enthusiastic user of your service and I appreciate the quality of the service you offer and the courage of the technical and policy choices you have made so far. However, I have recently noticed some shortcomings in Proton's calendar that I would like to report to further improve your service offerings.

    Firstly, I have noticed a lack of interoperability with third-party calendar clients, which limits its functionality. I am aware that to maintain maximum security and encryption, it is not possible to install the account on any calendar client. However, if the Proton Calendar application is the only available option, then it should be perfect. At present, many features are missing, and in some sections, when you click on them, a "coming soon" message appears, which is very disappointing.

    Additionally, it would be essential to be able to share events with third parties who may not use Proton systems. This is a very important option that many users request.

    I have also encountered some bugs in the Proton Calendar app. More than once, after entering all the data to create an event, the app crashed before I could save the information, forcing me to lose at least 2 minutes of time. I hope this can be resolved as soon as possible.

    As for Proton Contacts, I have encountered a very annoying issue. It is not possible to integrate contact data with devices, which forces me to save phone numbers twice if I want the contact's name to appear when they call me and also in the Proton contact database. Furthermore, the available fields are too few, and it is not possible to include all the important details that users may want to keep track of. It would be necessary to have the option to enter white-label key-value fields to allow users to organize data in a more personalized way.

    Finally, contact sharing is essential for me and many other users. It would be necessary to have the option to share contacts with other users in a simple and efficient way.

    As for Proton Mail, at the moment, I have nothing to report except for the lack of the email scheduling function. However, I can make up for this lack using the desktop client.

    I hope you can consider my reports and further improve your services. I remain a committed supporter of your service, but if the development sector is not adequately empowered and aligned with the minimum standards required by the market, the future could be challenging.

19. Proton Calendar Event Drag Feature

    One UX feature that would be really nice is the ability to drag an edge of an event to make it go over multiple days. Right now the only way is to manually edit the event.

20. Variable default times for calendar entries

    Would like to be able to set default time of an appointment in a calendar to 25 min, not just the predetermined 30 min or 60 min. Lots of people use pomodoro technique to study or work. The pomodoro technique prescribes meetings/work sessions of 25 min long.
