Yes, it's a must have. I too am trying to switch from google and can live with a scaled back version of a calendar (compared to google), but you have to be able to find events you can't remember.

Yeah, search is 2nd only to checking the calendar for what's happening in the present week and/or day. I'm stuck with Google or Outlook calendar until then.

The lack of ability to search in a modern calendar, is a big flaw.
I changed from Google Calendar to stop the surveillance from Google.
But I will soon be obliged to move to another calendar app, because the lack of search is very limitating and frustrating.
I use "search" for calendar items, most of the time I connect to check my calendar.

I want to switch to the proton calendar but don't understand how there is no search feature. It is such a pain and time waster to not be able to search the calendar. This is probably the most important feature to me. I can't believe after 2 years of people asking this hasn't been added.phone and web version please!!!!

Agree. This calendar is useless to me without a search function. I downloaded an app that does have it, because I don't want to use Google calendar. :(

Want to switch to PM's Calendar, but truly need the ability to search on events. Often need to know the last occurrence, or number of occurrences, of an event without scrolling through months, or even years, of calendar boxes. Thanks for all you do to protect our rights & privacy!

This is a major feature that needs to be added to both the web- and phone apps. When one has many different calenders synced with proton, it can be difficult to just look through everything.

This is critical for finding infrequent recurring appointments, e.g. reminders to pay annual subscriptions.

I manage a large number of tasks, events that are very important to my family. It is CRITICAL that I be able to search/find when a previous task was completed. I am now wasting precious time scrolling from day to day, trying to find a task from months ago.

Please do this. The lack of a search feature is the one glaring flaw in this program, at least for my uses.

Same sentiments as the others. Calendar has little use without a search function.

This is an absolute for me now that I've switched to Proton Calendar from Gmail calendar.

I migrated from Google Calender, assuming that ProtonMail calender had an event search function. Absolutely useless without it.
