Offline calendar
I don't really mind whether its a bridge to an existing app - Apple Mail, Lightning - or adedicated proton app but I need a calendar that I can use (rather than just view) offline. That means adding and editing events. This seems to me a pretty basic function, without it Proton Calendar is not much use to me. I am offline a lot of the time.

Same. I have occasionaly a weak internet connection, work in trains, hotels etc. Still need to be able to see my older emails.

Offline Storing of messages and the ability to send a message to an outbox like what Gmail does. Whatever is done offline, it goes into effect online. Whatever is done online, it go into effect offline. That is what the Proton Email system should be able to do.

This is key requirement for me because I travel a lot and often find myself doing email on planes, trains, random areas without internet.

Couldn't agree more. Even when conserving battery, or in an area of poor data I can't look at any emails or attachments. This is a significant issue for me, and would make protonmail perfect for my needs.

Believe it or not, outside of San Franciso, LA, New York, London, and Switzerland, there are places with limited or no connectivity. Some airlines don't even offer WiFi on their flights...I know, I know, first world problems, right?
Well, for those of us who spend our time in some of these more rustic places, we still want/need to access our email. Many apps do this already (Outlook) and even mail apps for iOS. The thing is, even on the old iPaq PDAs from ~2003, I could work offline, respond to email offline, and everything would synch up the next time I connected. In the older system, we could specify how much of the email we wanted for offline use, first nnn number of emails, enable folder by folder for offline use (you'd need folders for that...voted for it also), or exclude synch of items with attachments. Just look at the old literature for Compaq iPaq's circa 2002 and it will sell you on the features.
When you get your MacOS desktop app (I voted for that too), you should have the same/similar functionality for laptop users.

It would be a huge help to have this capabilities. For example, when traveling aboard, my data is turned off and in many cases I need to refer to a email. Currently, I cannot, without a internet connection. A cache/offline capabilities would be a great.
