Agree with the comments below! This is a high priority! Already switched from Google to Proton and this is one of the key things missing!

Would love it!

Proton Task would be very interesting to me, since I would then be able to switch from Google Calendar/Tasks to full Proton.

Yes, please... I'm migrating from Gmail to Proton, would LOVE to be able to use the calendar app. But I use Google Tasks/Keep recurring notes for reminders heavily. Very disappointing to see that Keep/Tasks are specifically excluded from calendar imports.

This is a must have for the Proton suite! However this should have enough features to be really useful and usable. It should probably be inspired by existing tools like Microsoft Todo or Vikunja (Open source).
Todo list and task application are usually containing very sensitive information about private or professional life and a privacy focused solution will be a really great addition to Proton. -

This would be wonderful! I was just about to make the suggestion tonight and saw that it's already under review. If need be, it can be limited on the free version with more options available with purchased plans. I have a business plan and it would help me immensely.

A secure Proton to-do would be great.
Any other to-do app is a perfect way of snooping. If wanting to analyze someones life, look at their to-do lists. -

To all the people talking about how happy they are with todoist: if you are sincere commenters (and not just trollers or advertisers), I think you're totally missing Proton's point. Proton doesn't intend to and is not expected to provide a better ToDo, email or calendar app. They intend/are expected to provide good apps that ENCRYPT USER DATA (client-side). Since Todoist doesn't do so, a Proton ToDo would not be a competitor since it would just bring something that many value while Todoist doesn't even try to do it.

I've talked about shadow people/entities several times Overplugged https://overplugged.org/when-to-upgrade-a-motherboard/ here and I have never seen a satisfactory picture or film capture of one before now.

I would move to proton calendar, but not without a To-Do-List (TDL). TDL needs a full range of time for recurring events. I have been on outlook for calendar, TDL and notes because the TDL is so good.

Adding an appointment titled "To Do List" and altering the comments inside it is a pain in the butt. This is just about the last piece I can think of to really make this suite complete for me.

I'm a happy Todoist user. No need for me personally to add this to Proton Cal.

I would be so happy. I could quit using Google Tasks!

I deleted my vote for this idea because I switched to Todoist some time ago and I am very happy with it. No need (in my opinion) for Proton to compete with Todoist.

tasks (0 duration events, that have are either pending (with a sliding recap on today) or completed) are as important as regular calendar events in modern productivity. Missing out on tasks is about as absurd as leaving out weekends!
If google manages to do it right, so can proton. -

This would be a major convenience, but not as important as adding a ProtonDrive desktop client for Windows/Linux/Android.

Samsung, at any rate, removed the 'task/to-do list' feature from their mobile app a few years ago. I use Samsung Notes for some things, but I know that's not secure. Being able to make lists and attach them to specific days or weeks (or choose to leave them 'loose-leaf') would be a welcomed (-back) feature for me.

100% endorse this as a roadmap item. Also think it's important to distinguish Tasks/Reminders/Events as separate record types that can share related calendar functionality the same way Google's calendar app does.
