Proton Calendar (web app)
I love protonmail as it is, to have an integrated calendar would be very handy. I would use it all the time then!!!
A calendar is more than just a tool. It’s a record of the moments that make up your life. Today, we’re happy to announce the launch of ProtonCalendar beta for all paid users. ProtonCalendar keeps your events private and secure. Learn more here: https://protonmail.com/blog/protoncalendar-beta-announcement/

I use protonmail for almost all of my communications (still have Gmail to track the last emails down and change them) an integrated calendar ability would make protonmail a lot more handy for users.

Please make a Calendar app. This would benefit because it would help people move farther away from the Google ecosystem.

Increasingly I use Proton mail as my number 1 communication tool. The absence of an integrated calender is a limiting factor to its full potential preventing me from stopping some of the alternatives whose pervasive and aggressive marketing strategies I abhor.
What a benefit it would be to have such a facility from Proton. -

How have you guys not made a calendar yet. I have two questions
- How much revenue are you missing out on by not having a simple calendar feature?
- How much is google paying you to not build a calendar feature? -

Is there any status on this feature? Thank you.

Unfortunately i cannot use all 7 votes on this feature.
Why is this task being started from Mar 29, 2018 , and still not completed after one year. :(
It`s an important feature keeping so many people from switching completely to protonmail....

The moment Protonmail launches calendar, I'm leaving Gmail and will become a vocal advoctae that my friends and family join Protonmail.

Like everyone else, I'm keen to see Calendar being introduced so I can ditch. Totally understand it's a complex project.
My preference would be to have some basic I can start to use now. Rather than include all the bells and whistles that Outlook and Google Calendar have.
Also I imagine that there is some frustration from users as I believe it was advertised to be shipping Jan this year. Perhaps being a bit more open on the progress of this project with Milestone and ETAs as a blog post would be helpful. Just a suggestion.

Excellent product available at a time when it's most needed!
To make PM sustainable by attracting a broad consumer market, three items are needed: (1) fully integrated calendar that will send + accept invitations from other systems (launch product can be barebones simple - I'm happy tp participate in an alpha or beta test) (2) Real time contacts update. I use FullContact and updating PM with basic info would be a tremendous help.(3) Link to Box (very secure) or other secure data service.
I'm a paying customer for both PM and PM VPN and continue to use Google because of the years I've invested and it works - anxious to fully eliminate G from my life. Would happily pay more for the added capabilities.
Also, regular updates would be welcome to keep our excitement at bay! -

Our Calendar is currently under development. It’s a complex project so it requires quite a lot of resources. We are grateful for your patience.
