How can we improve our accounts settings, payments or plans?

  1. Proton "DUO Plan" - targeted on couples

    I've read several interesting suggestions here, but sorry if I missed someone else proposing a "Family Plan" but for 2 😅I believe that many couples may have one of the two that is more privacy concerned while the other doesn't totally care and follows the lead. But sometimes 2 Protons plans can be a but expensive. A Duo Plan could have some products shared, like Drive and Pass, including features that allow each one to keep some privacy (Drive sharing the disk space and easy collaboration inside the Duo plan, while Pass could have something like 1password with 2 vaults…

  2. visionary lifetime after some years

    Today Proton have launch a family plan, with few difference with visionary plan. More stockage for visionary members and acces to some beta program.

    Maybe Visionary plan can Evolve today.

    first visionary members are already lifetime visionary member.

    New Proton members can't subscribe to Visionary plan, and new Visionary members (~~ 10/years) are also lifetime members because they became visionary with the lottery.

    So I think we could imagine visionary pay members could after 5-6 years become lifetime visionary members.

    Proton grow Up this feature will have low effect on Proton economi.

  3. Military Veterans/Disabled Veterans Discount

    Military Veterans or Disabled Veterans (can provide proof) should get a discount. In the USA, about 2% of our population are veterans/active/reserve etc. How can providing 2% a discount break a company?? It would actually build business!

  4. Cheap selective plan for Proton services

    I, and many others from poorer countries, can't afford to pay 5$/month for an email provider. Considering how unnecessary most of the features in the paid plans are for most people, please think about releasing 1-2$ plan that allows to choose one or two of a few additional features.

    For example, I wish to merge my old account into a new one, and therefore need to have 2 email addresses, but I certainly don't need 15GB of storage or priority support — and I can't pay for them either.

  5. 1 EUR plan

    To be competitive with with the Germans: posteo, tutanota and mailbox org there should be a 1 EUR plan. Your cheapest plan is 4 EUR which is insane. You have more features, but you could make that offerer by scaling the costly features down (storage, traffic).
    I could need:

    1-5 GB
    No VPN (it doesn't make sense to have the VPN with the same provider for me, I would never use this, because ist enables you to Tracks me)
    No drive
    1 custom domain Roth catch all
    1-5 addresses for sending

  6. Family Plan for Mail and VPN with Parental Control

    As everyone is already asking for a Family plan I don't have to repeat this. I would be up for a Familyplan including VPN and then add a Parental Control function. Changes needed:
    - Family plan for up to 6 Persons 2 of those are "Grown Ups" and 4 are Child-Accounts
    - VPN Client that can be forced and not turned off for the Child-Accounts
    - Family filter or at least Surf-report for Parents of the Child VPN Access
    - Family Filter or Report for Child Mail Accounts

    I really like Proton and its Plans and think this would be…

  7. Mail Plus

    To much differences between Mail Plus and Proton Unlimited: only 15Gb space for Mail Plus (to share between Mail, Drive and Calendar) it's not enough for the price of the service. And it's for me to expensive to upgrade to Proton Unlimited (that have 500Gb of space). I also have Microsoft 365 and for 69,00euro/year i have 1Tb of space (and all the Office 365 pack, of course). It would be NICE if You upgrade the MINIMUM space for Mail Plus to 50Gb (it will be a GREAT plan!).

  10. Bridge only subscription - proposals recap

    Preamble: keeping a service like Proton running requires money, and as there are no ads it is obvious it must come from subscriptions.

    There are already multiple proposals regarding a bridge plan:
    * including it in the free plan
    * a barebone plan including just the bridge and the signature removal
    * once-in-lifetime payment
    * 1$/month Bridge subscription
    * Bridge only plan

    So IMHO it would be interesting to have a plan regarding only the bridge, for those who don't need/don't want/can't afford a more comprehensive plan, but would still like to contribute and have an extra feature

  12. More Proton Mail features for new Proton Drive Plus customers!

    I just upgraded to Proton Drive Plus, and was disappointed to see that the #of folders I'm allowed for Proton Mail did not increase from 3!

    I realize Drive may be considered a separate service than Mail, but it would be nice to have some of these little features like (# of folders, #of labels, and filters in Mail) expanded once you start being a paying customer of Proton.

    It would be nice to have a Plan that is currently at the Proton Drive Plus level of price/storage, but also allows for a better overall Proton experience rather than just…

    It would be nice to be able to enable the Multi User feature for an individual plan and allow them to allocate storage amounts and other resources to individual users as well as manage domain addresses. I could see charging a limited additional user fee for the account of $1 per additional…

    I think it would be nice if you could have the option to pay for the same plan but with an increased storage. For example an Unlimited plan, but with 2TB of storage instead of just 500GB.

  16. Proton Plus upgrade tier

    Please combine the Mail Plus and VPN Plus tiers to provide a mid-range upgrade level that covers small upgrades for both Mail & VPN, but less extensive than the full Premium option.

  17. more free filters

    Add more free filters like at least 3 because free accounts only have 1 available filter and paid accounts have unlimited. I've also seen similar posts on here from 2016 of this issue and free accounts still only have 1 filter.

  18. Pricing on Basic Account

    The pricing structure has a GIANT $4/month while hidden underneath some where is that is the yearly price, so you have to pay one time a year at $48, well some small business people honestly cannot afford that right now, so when you want to upgrade you hit your customer with monthly payments are $5, totaling $74 a year.   19. Protonmail storage tiers

    I am a protonmail free user who would find more storage space very important but do not need/want all the additional benefits of protonmail plus (like multiple accounts etc). I was wondering if there could be such an option between the product tiers of protonmail free and protonmail plus, wherein users pay only for the extra storage they need.

  20. Some free features for Ukrainians

    Right now, war between Russia and Ukraine is happening. Ukrainians should use secure mail services. Why don't make some services free for Ukrainians? I think "Plus" plan will be good
