How can we improve our accounts settings, payments or plans?

  1. Payment with Cryptocurrencies

    It is currently possible to pay with Bitcoin. Many people do not want to trade with bitcoin due to its devastating environmental impact and bad privacy. Why go through the hassle of implementing other currencies when, after all, you are interested in fiat. There are many awesome services available that help to solve this issue. UTRUST, is one of them. https://utrust.com/.
    You implement their API. We can send you whatever cryptocurrency UTRUST supports (more than Bitcoin...) and you get the money.

    Advantages for
    Proton: No hassle with implementing and managing many payment options

  3. Anonymous payment with (3rd party) gift cards (Walmart, Target, etc.)

    Several VPN services with a footprint in North America offer a "payment with 3rd party gift cards" option.

    I.e., the future customer goes into a local BestBuy/Walmart/Target/etc store, anonymously buys a $100 BestBuy/Walmart/Target/etc gift card with cash, and then enters the gift card code online to pay for anonymous VPN service.

    Pros:
    + Truly anonymous, no trace left behind
    + Arguably more convenient and faster than mailing cash
    + Probably more anonymous than payment with cryptocurrencies.

    Cons:
    + Processing fees? I'm not sure what they are, but privacy-conscious people would be willing to pay a certain premium

  4. Payments/banking

    Will soon need a more secure online payments system than PayPal. Seeing as they are very close to the US security state. Not to mention banking. Any thoughts on solving these things are appreciated.

  6. XRB Raiblocks/Nano payment option!

    Add Rai (soon Nano) as a payment option. Bitcoin transactions fees are now too much, and it may take up to a few hours for a transaction to be confirmed. Unlike BTC there are NO fees for Rai, and transactions are nearly instant!

  7. Allow prepayment for an interval starting immediately after the current billing cycle-end

    Currently a new payment discards the already paid remaining portion of the current billing cycle, and starts a new billing cycle.
    It is true that a small compensation for the unused portion of the paid interval is provided, with the name "Proration".
    This might be OK if somebody wants to switch billing plans immediately, but does not seem right if the intention is to continue with the same type of billing plan, or if somebody prefers to use the current plant until the end of the billing cycle. After all, it is already paid.

  9. If you block to access to email account due to un-payment, how I can communicate with you by email about it?

    Regarding unpaid status using by automatic visa payment, there are several reasons to be occur. If you sent some remind the user for payment reminder would be generous. I was so surprised that you block my email account totally due to un-payment be happened.
    I will consider to be non-payment user or change to another account if this "sudden shout down measure" you take to the paid user.

  10. Payment customization

    Add the option of payment for used service. For example: I would like an account with 1 user, 2 GB of storage, 1 address and 0 custom domains .... I believe this would make it easier for many people who use protonmail daily.

    Can you please accept Discover Bank as a payment card type? I can't currently use my credit or debit card to pay you. I don't particularly like using PayPal and not everyone has a PayPal account.

    You gotta have an offer of one time payment for an individuals to purchase some functionalities and features for life time and space (GB Price) rather than paying a monthly fees.

    Vertcoin is one of the fastest, trustworthy, decentralized, and secure crypto-currencies on the market right now. The Vertcoin community is large, and vibrant, and many of us use Protonmail as their main email provider. We would love for Protonmail to accept Vertcoin as payment!

  19. Payment and days

    A long time I was thinking about multi accounts I don’t really like the option to habe to much accounts that’s the reason for my idea. I think That proton have a monthly subscription it’s okay but I would like to have the option to pay the next month before I need to pay this as a precaution. I normally do my finances every Thursday and wenn I have the money I would like to pay my bill before I need but I can’t.

  20. Litecoin Payment

    Please accept Litecoin as a payment method for premium accounts and donations. While Bitcoin is a great investment asset, for normal low level payments below multiple-thousand level, Litecoin is much better. Bitcoin transaction fees are already around $5. Currently Litecoin fees are around $0.05 or 5 cents. Even the advent of lightning networks on Bitcoin will not make Bitcoin cheaper since Litecoin will also have Lightning network payments and channel costs will be 100x more expensive on Bitcoin.
