Print button more prominent | Print shortcut
To store emails offline I use the Print function to save as a PDF. Unfortunately the Print function is tucked away behind the icons menu triple dot button above each mail. This is a rather cumbersome time consuming action to save emails at the moment. Is it possible to have either:
- a permanent print button in the icons menu above each menu
- make the icons menu above each email customizable so that the print button can be added by user's individual choice
- make a shortcut to print an email

Stop hiding Contacts! And Stop Bundling Emails!
1) Please create a CONTACTS option & place it in a permanent, visible, location at the top of the page, or in the column under New Message. It used to be visibly listed with other options. (That worked!) Now it is almost impossible to access the contacts list. We should not have to open NEW MESSAGE and HOPE that the icon appears!
2) Please give us the option NOT to bundle incoming emails. It is cumbersome an frankly, annoying! I would much prefer to open each new email without negotiating the entire oeuvre of correspondence.6 votes -
Unify email domains for interchangeability
@protonmail.com and @proton.me should have a shared registration so that emails to both go to the same user, or emails to either are forwarded to the orginal selected domain.
This also mitigates phishing, as currently a John@proton.me scammer can send phishing/social engieering attacks posing as legitimate John@protonmail.com
Either combine them, or make them vastly different so as not to be confused
Also allow claim of deleted/deactivated accounts if the name is shared between @protonmail.com and @proton.me

Use ProtonDrive to circumvent email size limits
Other people aren't interested in shrinking the size of attachments to accommodate protonmail's 25Mb size limit. Instead of refusing to send larger attachments to me, could you (protonmail) post them on my proton drive and then send a link?

Switch Between Applications in Same Window
Add the ability to switch between proton applications (mail, calendar, drive, etc.) reusing the same window without kicking off a new browser tab.

Don't alter email content or autosend to trash
Um. Protonmail is now altering the content of my emails by, apparently, allowing only two consecutive spaces? Example, 6 spaces in a row gets reduced to 2. You had one job ... to not alter content ... geez.
And Drafts are now being autosent to Trash? Huh?
Gonna have to go back to gmail I guess. What is wrong with you people? 🤷♂️ 🤔

More folders won't deter a person from subscribing if that's what they want to do.

generate password in popup window on ios
When opening the proton pass window from the keyboard it is not an option to generate a password when creating a new login. now I have to go to the app, copy a generated password and paste it in the window.

Switching Authenticators
It would be nice to be able to change my Authenticator (TOPT) settings without having to first delete all of my 2FA keys. I simply want to switch from using Authy Authenticator to a different Authenticator app, but to do so I have to first turn off 2FA, which deletes all my 2FA keys. Most apps allow me to simply delete Authenticator app as a 2FA option, and then re-add it.

Extra password \ PIN requirement when editing anything in the "Recovery" and "Security and Privacy" tabs.
I'm just in general paranoid about security after my previous gmail account was compromised.
I feel like the recovery and security tabs are most vulnerable. If users could make a custom pin or password that is different from the standard email password or mailbox password. I would feel more comfortable, I wouldn't want someone to somehow gain access to my inbox then change the recovery or password \ phone number etc or delete \ remove the recovery keys.I also feel a bit at unease with the app, because the app does not give an option to change a password,…

E-mail Conversations Borked
E-mail threads, or conversations, aren't quite working across the board. For instance, when I used Fastmail, the system recognized correctly the e-mails coming from the same "source" and group them together.
This is not happening correctly in Proton. For instance, some e-mails from LinkedIn are grouped when they arrive on different dates. A similar situation happens for GitHub: when the messages for a given pull request arrive, they aren't grouped together, as if they were from different topics.

Compose should display From name along with the e-mail address as well
Currently, when multiple aliases are defined, the Compose panel/window only displays the e-mail address. Since the From name could be different for every alias, it would be better to display this as well.
Same for replies and everything that's related.

Consistent PIN input methods
Android. Currently, there are three different ways PIN numbers are handled in the apps:
1) System PIN (E.161 input) - Drive, SimpleLogin
2) User-defined PIN (E.161 input) - Pass
3) User-defined PIN (Numeric keypad) - MailI would prefer all apps to use the same input method. My preference is option 2) as I prefer to "spell" my PIN rather than remember a sequence of digits, and also allow different PINs for different apps.

Implement Proton's new CAPTCHA on the forums.
Because the post and reply functions only need a generic login with a term agreement checkbox to login, the Proton feedback spaces are filled with spa. This is a little ironic given the new CAPTCHA you've just pioneered.
Save everyone a bit of heartache and show how incredible it is by implementing it right here!

allow more than one authenticator to be active. I have two phones I want two authenticators and they may not be the same so google authenticator on phone one, okta verify on phone two.

I would like to have an option for Proton Semi-Premium packet, a low cost version, an economic plan, with a lower price, affordable for everyone.
Please take in consideration this suggestion and create a plan with a cost of 2-3-4 euro per month.
I am sure that tens of thousands will choose this kind of paid version

Add an option to revert the recent colorscheme changes (approx. sep 13 2023)
The change in having the proton purple removed from the top bar, and changed to white, does not look as good as it did originally.
