Proton Video Calling
I own a business that uses a lot of video calling, and we use a lot of different Video calling services trying to figure out which one is best. I have not really found a great one yet... But i was thinking, "If Protonmail would make a video calling service, it would be perfect to have all of my services including email, video calling, etc. in one place!"

Develop a client with Voice, TexT, Video, and SMS capabilities for all OS
that would work both on desktops and mobile devices!

Why don't you try Hello, which is built into FIrefox and encrypted? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/hello/

What you want is RetroShare.org. It works on all desktop OSes. The code is now on github, not sourceforge.

Many of us work across borders and want to communicate visually and orally. Is secure video chat in the works?

You can use Firefox Hello. It's not encrypted, but it is p2p and can be anonymized.

if they get farm of servers like facebook, everything is possible. but it would cost 100M USD. imagine 100 000 users use video call or message in the same time. even if they just send pre-recorded video files, protonmail would need farm of storage servers and big bandwidth. it is possible, if they get one billion dollar investment.
