Proton Family pricing options
I'm happy to see the newly released Proton Family plan! I've been waiting around for something like this for a while. However, I don't really need to support 6 users in my small family. Can we instead get pricing per member? The current pricing is about 3.33 USD per member per month, at 19.99 USD per month if you get the 2 year plan. How about flexible pricing: 2 members = 4.99 USD each, 3 members = 4.49 USD each, 4 members = 3.99 USD each, 5 members = 3.49 USD each, 6 members 3.33 USD each.

I would like the per member pricing so that I can have more than 6 users. We have 6 kids and need 8 users.

Dear Proton Staff,
I have to go out on a limb here and say that the Proton Family plan is rather pricey for an average person. To secure the most economical rate, a 24-month subscription is required, amounting to USD 30 x 24 = USD 720, (disregarding the current temporary Black Friday deal) which is equivalent to AUD 1,119.24. This represents a significant financial commitment upfront.
Upon subscription, users are provided access to all five products, with no option to select preferred ones at the time of subscribing. For instance, I currently have no use for Proton VPN, Proton Calendar, or Proton Drive. It would be more appealing if there was an option to create a personalised Proton Family plan, allowing users to select and subscribe to their desired products, thus forming a customised Proton Family plan.
Is this something Proton could kindly consider in the future?

I fully agree with this, we are 2 people in need of a family plan and will eventually move to 3. We're working on it but it'll be a while before we get to 6!
We would love to benefit from a family plan, the email, calendar, VPN, drive, but is it possible to introduce an incremental pricing plan?

The current options for the Family Plan are limited and too expensive for just two users, if compared to similar valuable services. Pricing per member would be most useful and welcome

6 family members is really over the top.... is 6 family members the average in Switzerland ? ;)

I strongly support the concept of flexible pricing. Our family is only two people and this new "family" plan doesn't make $ sense for us.

Hi guys
I'm thrilled to see the release of the Proton Family plan! It's a great addition to Proton's offerings. While I understand the value of supporting multiple users, it would be fantastic to have flexible pricing options based on the number of members. https://ffstylishname.com -

Totally support this. I can't justify the cost that's based on 6 accounts when only 2 or 3 would be using it.

5 users, 3 email address per user, 5 gigs each, 5 gigs VPN Plus per month, 2 calendars, 5 gig drive. Include Simple Login as the base plan and the option to add to at least the drive and the VPN per user. And no more than $150 US bucks per year on a 24 month plan. Oh, and the option to port out for when the kids finally leave home.. lol.
I think family plans should start simple. And since the service is security and privacy based. The mentioned limits should be enough for most families to keep their online activities safe. Like email, banking, shopping or plain browsing. And if someone in the family wants more of things like VPN, they could have the option to add at their own discretion.
