When I import calendar events from Google to Proton, the process is slow, taking many minutes to complete.

I don't care to import every single event ever created in my Google account. I only care about events in the current year, recurring series with events in the future, and events in the past 1-3 years for bookkeeping purposes.

Please prototype an option to skip calendar sync data from 4+ years ago, in order to accelerate calendar syncing operations.

Also, where API's support it, automatically sort the incoming data feed by date descending. So that the most relevant events are synced first, followed by less relevant events.
