Improve Proton Icons in Linux
Proton icons in Linux are not only smaller than the standard 48 pixels but moreover have a very ugly white background filling out the 48 px size. Please Proton, do a proper job of the icons and size them correctly and with a transparent background, in the standard (transparent) .png format.

Build a better tool to clean the storage.
We don't need more space, we need a good cleaning tool and best organization for the attached files.

Treat subdomains as essentially identical to parent domains
Please treat nested domains like a.b.c.d as essentially identical to b.c.d and c.d.
This helps several Proton Pass features to work in a more practical manner, including autofill and password update.
Without this enhancement, Proton Pass often mistakenly creates duplicate login items, instead of prompting to update existing login items.

Unable to delete invited calendar events
When I accept, or even just receive, a calendar event invitation, then Proton Calendar makes it impossible to delete the event or recurring event series.
As a result, my calendar is littered with noisy blocks for declined or cancelled events. That make it hard to see more relevant data.

Proton drive should not have right to rename directory or file during synchronisation
This append when i rename my directory directly under my files. Proton drive rename directory and files and adding « name clash date ». The application should simply transfer directories and files to the cloud and not have the right to modify anything on these objects under my files. This is a bug very dangerous.

Availability in other app stores
Although it is not a functionality as such, I believe that publishing the applications in other application stores (especially the Huawei AppGallery that allows Huawei users, without Google services, to access applications securely without relying on third-party stores) can be beneficial in helping users of Proton's services to find them and prevent them from downloading applications that impersonate the official ones of Proton

Quirks in Proton Calendar Notification UX
Proton Calendar has some strange goings on
The "Notifications" dropdown menu in the Proton Calendar Web UI provides two choices:
- notification
I do not want email notifications of upcoming events on my Proton calendars. So I use the second option, the one with the generic name. But that same option also triggers email notifications for some reason.

Proton Calendar iOS/iPadOS ignores per calendar notification settings
I use individual calendars to organize events within Proton Calendar. But when I disable all notifications for certain calendars, then Proton Calendar disregards my settings and shows iOS notifications anyway.

Proton Pass Monitoring: Warn on insecure URL schemes
When I have HTTP or GOPHER (as opposed to HTTPS) URL's in my records, then I want Proton Pass to warn me. So that I reduce the risk of transmitting sensitive credentials in cleartext over the network.
Same story for FTP (as opposed to SFTP, FTPS, FTPES), TELNET and TFTP (as opposed to SSH, RSYNC, GIT), and other insecure protocols.

Proton Pass mobile: Can't highlight or copy passwords in generator UI
Please enable text selection for passwords in the mobile generator UI, so that we can copy candidate passwords to the clipboard.
Numerous online services have poor password manager integration, so the clipboard is often the only way to quickly input complex passwords.

Multiple platform integration gaps related to processing calendar event invitations
I had a devil of a time getting Proton integrations working today.
Proton Mail often neglects to present a Yes/No/Maybe event invitation for emails that contain ICS attachments. So it is difficult to reliably accept business meeting invitations with the Proton platform, compared to Google.
I tried opening the ICS attachment on my phone. But Proton Calendar fails to appear in the OS share menu for ICS attachments.
Then I tried downloading the ICS as a file. But neither Proton Calendar nor Proton Drive appear in the OS share menu for entries in iOS/iPadOS Files.
Then I tried using the…

Proton Pass error: Operation not allowed
Proton Pass recently started failing. Half the time, when I use the iOS credential autofill, instead of Proton Pass working, I get this intermittent "operation not allowed" error.
It happens at the moment when Proton Pass is about to display a list of accounts.

Proton Mail: Low contrast in text format emails
Text mode emails stand to raise contrast, particularly in the Web client and iOS client.
When dark themes such as Carbon are applied, then Proton Mail shows dark foreground font colors against a dark background.

Complete "ProtonSuite" integrated into Evolution on Linux via an "Über-Bridge"
The dream, of course (for us Linuxers), is to be able to use Evolution on Linux with PMail for email, PCal for Calendar, PContacts for Contacts, and whatever Standard Notes ends up becoming being integrated into Memos in Evolution. Should there ever be a PTasks developed, this would also be integrated into a complete suite: ProtonSuite which would integrate via a kind of all-in-one Über-Bridge into Evolution on Linux (as a first approximation; other clients could follow later. Might as well go with the standard groupware client to start with).
I've already voted for a native Linux PDrive client.

Inconsistent ordering for reused password list
Hi,
I'm struggling to manage old account records, because the reused password list in Proton Pass keeps fluctuating. Please apply a consistent ordering.

Password generator UI sometimes missing
When Proton Pass does not detect a password field on the current page, then it is difficult to generate a password.
The Web is fundamentally imperfect; We cannot expect password managers to detect 100% of password fields, especially when various websites write bad HTML code.
However, Proton Pass can do more to ensure that the password generation UI is always available. Other password managers like LastPass provide generation options in:
- The browser plugin menu
- The browser context menu
Let's add triggers in both places to raise the Proton Pass generator UI, so that users have more reliable ways to explicitly…

Publish more of the products to the Mac App Store
Please publish more of the platform products to desktop app stores, including the Mac App Store, the Windows Store, and the Ubuntu Software Centre (Linux). That way, users will enjoy a more convenient, intuitive way to install the full complement of Proton products in desktop environments.

Better contrast for OS scrollbars in dark mode themes
Dark mode themes like Carbon interact poorly with OS scrollbars, such as Google Chrome macOS scrollbars. The contrast is low, resulting in the scrollbar being nearly invisible.
Work with CSS/vendors to ensure better contrast for OS scrollbars when activating Proton dark mode themes.

Improved session management
Asking for improvements to the existing "Session management" under
"Security and privacy"
1. Capitalize the Second word: "Session management" -> "Session Management"
2. Sort by type: rather than by date
a. Mail, Calendar, Drive, VPN, Pass
b. web, Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux, Android, iOS
c. Also by date: Ascending and Descending like when sorting emails
3. Give names to each session: Mullvad VPN does this well
The Problem: In "Session management" each entry does not clearly
correspond to a session due to only the "App" and "Date" being
listed. This becomes a problem when there are many sessions.
The Solution: Give…4 votes -
Option to filter calendar imports
When I import calendar events from Google to Proton, the process is slow, taking many minutes to complete.
I don't care to import every single event ever created in my Google account. I only care about events in the current year, recurring series with events in the future, and events in the past 1-3 years for bookkeeping purposes.
Please prototype an option to skip calendar sync data from 4+ years ago, in order to accelerate calendar syncing operations.
Also, where API's support it, automatically sort the incoming data feed by date descending. So that the most relevant events are synced…
