Option to disable login via aliases
The idea: A user could choose to allow logins only through their primary (default) address (e.g., aaa@proton.me).
Any login attempts using an alias (e.g., bbb@proton.me) would be automatically rejected, even if the correct password is provided.
This would prevent attackers from trying to brute-force the account even if they know one of the aliases.1 vote -
A Matrix discord alternative?
I know a lot of people already made a suggestion like this but I was thinking I could give some insight on the tech I'd like to see implemented too, https://matrix.org/ is "An open network for secure, decentralised communication", there's no reason for proton itself to recreate a whole system if this already exists, and since proton meet is here too that could be the solution to voice chat integrated into the discord alternative.
Currently there's like no viable discord alternative but if there's one company I think can do it it'll probably be someone like proton or steam etc

Please add organization tabs like gmail!
Hello Proton Team,
I really, really enjoy Proton, but I still miss gmail's organized tabs which conveniently kept things like routine Newsletters (Opted In Ads) and Forum Responses, etc. out of your regular mail inbox. I am so sick of the clutter, but I still want quick access to all of my new emails... Please keep in mind that this should be a very detailed filter as sometimes messages from a company are super important or self-set notifications, but sometimes they are just newsletter nonsense advertising whatever new service they are offering. I understand the the current filters may allow…

Option to copy to different calendar and make modifiable.
I often receive calendar invitations like "John meeting", where my name is John. When Lesley sends me such a calendar entry I would want to change it to "Lesley+John meeting" and having many John meetings in my calendar is unhelpful.
I understand that it makes some sense that for me the meeting is read only (but overriding that would open up other useful options).
So I ask Proton to allow me copy the event into my calendar, and modify the copy. Thanks in advance.4 votes -
Add the block sender selection to the Android app. I see the option to block sender within the desktop application, not the Android app.

IMAP Label Support in Proton Mail Bridge (X‑GM‑EXT‑1 or equivalent)
Hello Proton Mail Bridge Team,
I would like to request support for applying Proton Mail labels via IMAP.
Currently, the Bridge exposes labels as IMAP folders (e.g., Labels/Paperless), but it does not support any IMAP mechanism for applying a label to a message.
This creates a limitation:
- When a user labels an email in Proton Mail, the Bridge shows it in both INBOX and the label folder (virtual projection).
- When an IMAP client moves a message into Labels/<Label>, the message is removed from INBOX instead of receiving the label.
- There is no IMAP command available to apply…1 vote -

Partially free accounts having the option to use the shortened email
Why shouldn't a partially free account use the shortened email? What I mean by that is that since you create an account, you have a pm.me email address just to receive emails. When someone subscribes to a product separately, like Proton Pass, on my occasion, it would have been better to have the option to use at least the shortened email to send messages. Next month I want to subscribe to the VPN so having to pay for 2 products, shouldn't I be eligible to use the shortened email. This is a suggestion, but people who understand better please let…

Lumo — Add a One-Click "Burn and Delete" Button for Messages to Enhance Privacy
As a privacy-focused AI service, Lumo aligns perfectly with Proton's commitment to security and user control. To further enhance this, I’d love to see a one-click "burn and delete" button for all messages, similar to what DuckAI offers. Currently, deleting messages requires navigating through settings and multiple clicks, which feels a bit cumbersome and slightly out of step with the privacy-first ethos.
This small feature would make it effortless to wipe message history instantly, reinforcing Lumo’s focus on user privacy and security.

More reporting options for uservoice posts
Having the option to report posts as inappropriate only is limiting. People post stuff in the wrong sections, and the admin needs to be aware and move/etc... . If the admin already does this, then all is good.

Document: How-To: Use the mutt CLI email client with Proton Bridge
Existing documentation for this is old, and scattershot across internet forums.
Please document it at the same level as GUI email clients, so that TUI fans (and users restricted to terminals) can enjoy Proton Mail features in a simple, snappy, keyboard-driven interface. This would include support for the mutt "e" command, which edits an email in $EDITOR and then updates it back on the server.

Proton Pass breaks AfterShip
Proton Pass prompts you to add the aftership.io domain to your account for the mobile app. However, upon doing this, Proton Pass triggers an infinite loop in the AfterShip mobile app login form. It becomes impossible to proceed. The interactioon between these apps is so bad that it's better to use a phjysical sticky note.

Provide Sentinel features for free for targeted individuals
Proton Sentinel is included with the paid plans, but for highly targeted individuals, a option could be to give them Sentinel for free, only the Sentinel part.

Reconsider Bridge for iOS
If it is a technical impediment, please reconsider this feature because the tech keeps changing with new iOS releases.
It is not acceptable to force your paying customers to use several mail apps on iOS. It should be the users choice if they want to use the built-in app or Proton Mail. Proton won't keep up with iOS features in terms of integration with the OS (and new stuff like AI). So please allow us to use the email clients we desire. Thanks

Allow turning off email event reminders
I have Proton Calendar on my phone, and I get event reminders there via push notification. For me, getting an email reminder in my email is redundant. I get two push notifications on my phone that I have to dismiss, not to mention deleting the completely useless email. If people find this feature useful (though neither Google nor Microsoft do this), great keep it but please let the rest of us turn it off.

Navigate Between Multiple 2FA Codes for the Same Account in Proton Pass
Currently, Proton Pass displays only one 2FA code in the side popup when selecting an account. However, some accounts require multiple authentication codes for different actions (e.g., signing in, deleting the account, or removing files).
I propose adding a feature that allows users to switch between the different 2FA codes associated with the same account using arrows or a selector, without leaving the popup or manually searching within the app.
This enhancement would make it easier to manage accounts with multiple authentication layers and significantly improve the user experience in complex security scenarios.
