AI agent that bulk changes/updates and renews all passwords
Please create an AI agent that updates and renews all of the hundreds of passwords stored in my account every 4 months and updates the 2FA codes as well. This would make the whole product much more secure since many of the people i speak with don't update their passwords because it takes far too much time.

change item to another vault item
When you import items PP sets them on "other" items. I am really missing an option to change the item to e.g "login".
It would be fine if you import 5 items. But now I can't change my 250+ logins to login items, email or whatever. You really got to love PP if you are manually changing that : )4 votes -
Auto Delete Contacts in Simple Login
Can you create a feature to automatically delete a contact that has not forwarded a message or has not been used in a specified number of days, weeks, or months? It will help with cleaning up contacts.

Support for Mooltipass encrypted backup files
With Mooltipass hardware password repositories failing due to battery lifecycle, it would be beneficial to be able to import their native backup file direct to Proton Pass.
The alternative is to manually copy and past each filed for each credential as plain text export is not supported with the Mooltipass Mini BLE device.

Profiles for Autofill
The Login Page within the app which stores the details of the user should have the ability to store multiple profiles under the same banner/tag. It helps to declutter the home page where a person right now has to make different Autofill details for different Netflix accounts causing repitition of header and a cluttered Home page

Hi, the file sharing option is only available in the mobile app. It would be great to have Sharing options for File attachments in desktop Chrome extension as well.

Email Security Notification on ProtonPass Lockout (3 Failed Attempts)
Presently, three failed attempts at PIN unlock with ProtonPass will result in a lockout. I propose that there be an option for this result to in an email notification to your default account notifying you of the three failed attempts. It could include info such as:
Date/Time of three failed attempts
IP/Geolocation
Device Identifiers

Support HOTP counter-based 2FA codes
So this is a little niche, but my organization uses Duo Mobile for 2FA. I figured out how to strip the token out from the QR code, so I can use it elsewhere... but it's not a time-based token, it's counter-based. I was able to use it with my YubiKey so I now have a backup to the Duo app, but apparently I can't use it with Proton.

Allow changing the Proton Pass extra password without having to remove it first
Once a user has set up an extra password for Proton Pass, it is not possible to change the Proton Pass extra password without first removing it.
This is extremely inconvenient, as it forces the users to remove the extra password and create it again, even if they only want to change it.
Therefore, there should be an option to change the extra password directly, without having to remove it.

Show label with Vault or icon in All items overview
To get a better / clear understanding in which vault a record is, it would be very usefull that if you have selected All items in the web app, that it shows in which vault a record exist. I just moved to ProtonPass, and its confusing to select items / select vaults to see in which vault a record is.
Maybe a simple solution to this:
In All items:

Add list of logins that support Security Key to Pass Monitor
In Pass Monitor it shows which logins don't have 2FA enabled yet, but do support it. Pass Monitor does, however, not show a list of login's that support the use of a security key. This could be helpful in further enhancing the security of accounts. Now it has to be checked manually.
Maybe it does not have to be a 'missing security key' feature, as the key is not stored in Proton Pass, but just a check to see which login's support it. Or a way to check the items yourself if a key is added.

Add Proton Pass to the options when right clicking in browser
Right now, if Photon Pass doesn't show up in a particular password field, the only way to log in is to manually open the app or extension and copy and paste in.
In contrast, 1pasword lets you right click in the password box and select 1password from the options, which then allows you to access your login.
This is much less hassle than doing the entire thing manually.

Add a Password Field to “Other” or a New “Simple Password” Item Type
Please add a Password field to “Other” items, with the same show/hide and copy functionality available in Login items.
Even better, please consider adding a dedicated “Simple Password” item type for securely storing standalone passwords that are not associated with a login.
This would be different from the existing password generator feature.

Feature Request – Virtual / Disposable Payment Cards
Hi Proton team,
I would love to see virtual payment cards added as a future feature to Proton, potentially integrated with Proton Pass.
I’m referring to a service similar to Privacy, where users can create virtual card numbers for online purchases instead of providing their real credit or debit card details to merchants.
This would add an extra layer of privacy and security when shopping online. If a merchant suffers a data breach, the user’s actual card details would remain protected. Manual Logo
Subject: Feature Request: Manual Logo/Favicon Upload for Accounts
Hello Proton Team,
I recently switched to Proton Pass (Lifetime Plan) from 1Password, and I am loving the privacy and security it offers. However, there is one feature I strongly miss.
In Proton Pass, many logins do not automatically fetch the website's logo, even after entering the URL correctly and clearing the cache. This makes it difficult to quickly identify accounts visually.
My Request: Please add a feature that allows users to manually upload or select a custom logo/icon for individual logins, similar to how other password managers do it.

Official APT repository (e.g. PPA) for the Linux app
Currently, the only official way to install or update Proton Pass on Debian/Ubuntu is to download the .deb manually.
There is a Snap package, but according to Proton support it is a community build that is not published or signed by Proton. For a password manager, users should be able to get updates directly from Proton. Snap is also not an option on some distributions (e.g. Linux Mint blocks it by default).
Please provide an official, signed APT repository, either as a Launchpad PPA or self-hosted (like the one Proton VPN seems to use already). This would:

Add password creation date, expiration duration, and renewal notifications (for AD & service accounts)
Would it be possible to display the password creation date on an item and associate it with a validity duration / expiration period?Based on this duration, Proton Pass could send an optional notification to alert the user that the password needs to be renewed soon.This feature would be highly useful for technical environments, such as Active Directory (AD) accounts, system accounts, and Windows Service accounts. It would prevent keeping outdated passwords active and allow users to renew credentials proactively before they expire or break a service.
