  1. Additional Item Export-Import Metadata for Identification and Trackability

This additional idea comes from my experience reimporting a whole Pass dataset, hoping it would replace existing items and update them.

Each item should have additional metadata, such as an import ID and import date-time, perhaps the date-time could be encoded into the import ID. The way this would work is, that at the time of import, an auto-generated import ID would be created for any and all of the imported items, so that multiple items, being part of a package, imported in bulk simultaneously, would share the same import ID and date-time of import.

    This would allow for more…

  2. Secure QR codes

Just like secure links or vault sharing.
This will be very efficient for mobile proton pass users because all they have to do is to scan to get your shared data.
Make this for upgraded users as well as for free users (free have vaults)

  3. Link Alias with its own Login

Currently, if you click on an Alias, it shows you a link to Create a Login. This is good, but after you create the login, it continues showing you the "Create Login" link.
The way it should work is after you create the login, it should tell you that there's a log in already for that alias. Alias should be linked to their own log in.

  4. Scheduled export from the application and/or export function in pass-cli

This would allow us to automate backups without having to remember to do it manually.

  5. Account information for Login with Credentials

Proton is an outstanding tool for storing secrets, passkeys, and more.
But I also have another problem that a password manager could solve.

What "Login with" a provider have I used on this particular page?
Some pages support Google, others Facebook, others LinkedIn, and even GitHub.
In one case, it can be all 4 options; in another, only GitHub.

Remembering what I've used to log in to the page is quite challenging.
It would be good if Proton could store information so that I could choose the "Login with" button and even the account used in this provider, as, for…

  6. Storing PGP keys in Proton Pass

Proton Pass already stores SSH keys and can use them using Proton Pass CLI with it's integrated SSH Agent, I think a PGP integration too would be amazing as it would allow managing and maybe even using PGP keys, maybe from the CLI too, with Proton Pass without having to rely on outside tools, and having a secure place to keep PGP keys in synced between devices.

  8. Schedule enable/disable of aliases

There are certain accounts/aliases I need at the same time every year, like tax time. Scheduling alias enable/disable for certain time periods would be a killer feature.

  9. Personal data/identity per login

It would be great if you could track per login what personal information / identity was given in a structured manner (not just notes).

    For example:
    - which phone number was used
    - which address was used
    - which bank card was used
    - and/or which identity profile was used

This would make it easy to track which logins need to be updated with new information in the case of:
    - changing phone number
    - moving to a new adress
    - moving to a new bank (card/account)

  10. Add FIDO2 support to Windows desktop Proton Mail app

Add FIDO2 support to Windows desktop Proton Mail app so that it would work with Yubico Authenticator and YubiKey using FIDO2. Any ETA?

  11. send email TO/CC/BCC whitelist/blacklist

It would be helpful to have a toggle button in Proton Email to warn or block you from sending/replying to non-reverse aliases or pre-approved email addresses/domains. That way, when you're using multiple emails, you don't accidentally send an email to the wrong email address or accidentally reveal your primary email by not using a reverse alias in the TO/CC/BCC block.

  12. Give Proton Pass a Pretty UI!

I’ve fully migrated to Proton Pass from another password manager. Functionally and security-wise it’s excellent, but the iPhone interface which I use the most, feels very plain and hard to read. The vault list is just a flat text list with no dividers or subtle background differences, making it difficult to read. Some gradient or visual separation between logins would make a huge difference.

About icons, around 60% of my logins use generic ones. Users should be able to add their own, and automatic icon detection could be improved. Visual recognition is key for quickly finding entries.

    The Categories section…

  13. Allow configuring Sign in with SSO providers inside entires

Many people have Google, Microsoft, or SSO providers linked to their logins. Inside 1Password you can choose the SSO provider, and the account so you know this account is linked to your Google Account, or Apple ID and can select which username. This will be really useful to set.

  17. Print my Memories

As a loyal KeePass user for decades, I can't help but endorse the idea of being able to print all or some archive entries on paper as a perfect backup in case of problems... I'm wary of all other digital media for backups. ...It's like when they ask you what's the longest-lasting medium for storing memories. STONE is still the medium where we read the oldest memories...and it makes you think. :)

    ITALIANO < < <
Da affezionato utente pluridecennale di KeePass non posso che inserire l'idea di avere la possibilità stampare su carta tutto o alcune voci dell'archivio come…

  18. Preview Auto-Fill Fields

Have proton pass provide a preview of what will be filled in each field when hovering over an item.

This would allow the user to quickly confirm that the selection is the correct one before selecting it. It is useful when the user may have more than one item which may be selectable. As an example, if filling out a form which requires identity info, the user may have a personal identity and a work identity.

This behavior is present in Google Password Manager and is very convenient.

  20. Custom list of new account email autofills

Proton Pass will suggest using my Proton email or a new alias when creating a new account somewhere, which is really helpful. However I currently still create new accounts under one of my old emails, so it would be nice if there was a way to customise this list.
The easiest way would be to have a textbox in settings where you can specify an email address for Proton Pass to use for suggestions instead of my Proton address, but in an ideal world it would be great if I could specify a list of addresses to be suggested alongside…
