Attachments
(at least 25mb) to logins and notes
In bitwarden we can attach (up to 500mb) files to login items, which is helpful if you want to capture screen shots for settings, restoration keys, or even evidence. Also helpful for things like optical prescriptions.
Attachments is the ONE missing feature preventing me from fulling moving into PP from Bitwarden.

Yes, please add this. It would make Proton Pass so much better.

Coming from Keepass, this feature is absolutely critical for me.
Currently, I'm managing my secret files within Proton Drive, but it's a clunky and inefficient solution compared to having attachments.

I do keep popping into Proton Pass from time to time, to see how it's coming along. UI is nice, however feature wise it's not useful to me as yet for several reasons.
One of those being attachments, as per this post. And the other is lack of organization (tags supported, but still no folders). Lastly is the inability to add extra custom fields to particular 'types'.
I do think that as Proton is it's own ecosystem, that instead of actually attaching the file and storing in with the Proton Pass database, they could utilize Proton Drive here. You upload the file you want to Proton Drive, then Proton Pass allows you to pick it from there and links to it. So you can either then open the location in Proton Drive, download it or view it. I would be happy with either approach.

Very very needed on my end, to store GPG, private keys, etc.
Either as file attachments to notes & password items, or as a specific item type (but then allow to store several files in a single item, use case example : gpg private + public key.
The lack of this made the import from Bitwarden kind of worrying (did I lose something silently?). -

I tried to import my KeepassXC database to proton pass, but the attachments with my backup codes were not saved and it didn't warn me of that

What do you mean by optional prescription in password manager?

Between Important and Critical for me, to complete the transition from 1Password, fully using my Proton Unlimited account.
Mainly to store images of passports, ID cards and similar. -

Even being able to link to a Proton Drive file would be useful, e.g. citizenship documents, etc. However, other items would benefit from a photo attached to the Pass entry, e.g. bank card, license, etc.

I look foward to secure notes being able to take attachments of secure documents. I know there is ProtonDrive, so build that functionality into ProtonPass so that it can use 100MB shared from Drive for SecureNotes to upload attachements. Things like ID's, Wills. Bonds, and most importantly text documents or PDF with backup codes from MFA need to be accessable but also secure. Im sure alot of users will agree with me.
I used to use Bitwarden paid version and migrated to ProtonPass when it launched, I was very disappointed when I imported all of my passwords and secure notes, only to find my secure notes no longer had the attachments. What a bummer! My most important stuff is stored there, and I also use it to store a txt doc for the backup codes of each MFA account. I know you can create a secure note and type it in there, but having one secure note that stores those is much better.
Also the ability to save those very important docs is vital if your password manager to be the leader in the market place.
So listen to my idea....
Use the ProtonDrive to alloacte the space for ProtonPass to be able to hold the attachments, BUT do not make the info available to access form the Drive. its very important that you dont to that. -

As i am coming from Keeper , This is the main feature really i am lacking with Proton pass . This is seriously critical feature cause we need to attach sometimes notes / Backup codes file / Documents with the Password info s which also can be accessed during Login via Password auto fill tool .

Assuming it eats into our global storage allocation I can't see why this isn't a top priority

Besides the password issue, this is really needed.

Features like this will add unnecessary bloat to Pass. Why not use proton drive to store the files and add a link to them in pass? Use the right tool for the job.

I need to store various files. Like recovery tokens or PGP keys.

I currently use Kaspersky. They only allow PNG & PDF graphics to be secured in KPM. I've always thought that is quite short sighted.
I would prefer a generalised encrypted vault of ANY type of file, although obv limited somehow, such as the avail size avail on Proton Drive.
Personally I would allow files/documents to be visible on a Proton Pass "record", AND/OR alone without any Proton Pass listing.... Perhaps a Documents Category on Proton Pass, a document/file which may or may not be linked into a Proton Pass record.

Let's face it, there are so many of us that are wishing to transition from other password managers. My transition from 1Password is almost complete, but there are two features that must be available in Proton Pass before I can complete that transition and say Goodbye to 1Password forever!!. The first is TABS which is a must for searching for passwords with the same login domains (eg. Apple ID's). The second option is ATTACHMENTS. This is a deal breaker for me because I was able to put all of my recovery codes etc from Apple, ProtonMail, etc into .pdf files and attach them to the password file.
Thank You to the entire Proton Pass team!! You are all incredible.

Need this feature to move from mSecure too. (or the ability to link something from proton drive) Thank you!

Proton pass missing attachments is basically the only reason I don't switch from bitwarden to it, that and identities would be nice but identities is less important.

Dear proton team, this feature request and this one: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/46854553-support-tiny-file-attachments are essentially asking for the same thing meaning in total this has around 650 votes.

Attachments to credentials are critical, although its probably better to allow for slightly larger attachments as outlined here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/47602298-attachments this way we fulfill everyone's use-case . The size of the attachment could be deducted against the total data available for the entire proton account as is already done with protonmail and protonpass using the same data pool.
If you think about it this and the link I posted above are really the same feature request which is 'attachments' meaning this request currently has about 650 votes.
