An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThey're actually working on it as mentioned here: https://proton.me/blog/proton-mail-calendar-roadmap under "Deeper integration with other Proton services"

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThe load balancing comment from Ben K hits the nail on the head. There shouldn't be servers at capacity and others at 60% or lower. Please allow automatic switching of servers for users. I know that some servers might have higher loads, because they are not blocked by specific services, so we sometimes need to switch to them, but maybe there is a way to allow us to quickly switch to some favorite servers that we can set, which we have found work for our specific needs and then enable an "optimized speed" mode, which switches us to servers with lower usage.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThe differential between Office 365 in Switzerland and India applied to Proton's 290 USD plan would result in a 179 USD charge, which is still pretty high.
I wonder, whether Proton can generally find a better way to balance its need to be commercially viable, while also making privacy affordable for everybody across the globe.
They should generally become cheaper the more people start using the service, since marginal costs should be negligible.
There could be stretch goals for the number of users to hit, before the services become cheaper for everybody. -

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedIt's a Swiss company, so they should offer that discount to veterans of any country or at least Swiss veterans first.
Although a discount for disabled people and retirees in general would be cool. I just think doing that on a global scale and verifying the status is a tough problem. -

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedNot sure this will be feasible for them to do.
I've had this problem too though and I work around these blocks by using other servers in my country and sometimes other countries too. It requires a little bit more work, but you can try it for now. -

As of March 2024, this feature is available on the web. Coming soon to other apps.
An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThis is actually an interesting requirement and could be implemented by allowing to delete all occurrences of an even within a given time frame. It would also be nice to be able to just mark/select multiple events in the calendar view and then just delete those.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThis doesn't make sense, since you would hardly ever fall into a pre-selected snooze period with your surfing, risking surfing without protection and you can already disconnect and quick connect with 2 clicks on the system tray icon.
You can easily disconnect before doing whatever it is that you want to do and then reconnect right after. I suggest trying to connect to a different server as well, sometimes that helps as well. What could be helpful would be a reminder that you are surfing without protection that is more prominent than just the tray icon. So people are reminded to turn protection back on, after having turned it off. This could be linked to changes in traffic (not payload data) as well, so it corresponds to a person being done with something that caused them to turn off the VPN.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedIt wouldn't be fully automated, but you could build a shortcut in iOS for that. I have one that I activate whenever I leave the house and another for when I return.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedWeb UI has it, but I was recently in need of this feature in the iOS app as well.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThis is already possible. In the web UI you have days as an option directly and in the iOS app you can select number of days under custom.
I'd agree though, that I'd rather have the 1 day before than 1 week and switch the weeks to custom-only. -

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThey could honestly improve it in the UI, so that you can select standard profiles when you manage them and not go into another "Settings" menu.
An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedI assume you're on a desktop and here you can go into Settings of the ProtonVPN app and change the profile for "Quick Connect" in the General tab. On mobile you can set a profile as your default when you edit/manage that profile.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedWould love this, but rolled into the Proton Mail app. Somewhat like Microsoft's Outlook app.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedI guess this won't change if you're sharing the 10 connections if your account with other people. Those people need their own account and then we're going into family options/plans for Proton, which is still a hot mess to begin with.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedThis depends mostly on the device/OS manufacturers and not Proton. There's a reason Google only offers backups to their own service just like Apple with iCloud.

An error occurred while saving the comment ohoh commentedIt's a free service that incurs costs on Proton's end. Pay for a higher tier if you want more storage. Then Proton can offer more storage for everybody.
One could argue about the steps between tiers, but asking for handouts is ridiculous, when you get a pretty generous free offer as is. Unlike other services, they don't sell your data and cannot finance free tiers any other way, but by subsidizing them with money from paying users.
I don't get how this is still not included as part of "Mail Plus".
I want an email provider with good email functions. I don't want an online storage, vpn, or password manager. I have all those already and they are dedicated services with better functionality and faster development speed.
Why is it not possible to have a proper email tier with SimpleLogin included?
I also think that SimpleLogin should be better integrated into Proton Mail. I get that it appears in Proton Pass as a login identity rather than an alias for sending and receiving emails, but I would like the full SimpleLogin functionality integrated into Proton Mail, including the management of those Aliases.
It isn't even properly listed in the Proton plans explanation page https://proton.me/support/proton-plans
Just kinda sucks that Proton keeps adding services, but the core that makes it valuable feels neglected.
