Format event text on iOS
When adding 'details' to a calendar event on iOS, I often want to add a list of items. As far as I can tell, I can't add details except as one continuous paragraph.
Being able to enter a line break would make this much more user friendly (in my opinion!)

Separate mail and calendar into different apps
add a separate proton calendar icon to the Proton mail/calendar app, so you can directly open the calendar without opening the mail app.
for example the ms mail and calendar app is one app but it behaves as a mail and a separate calendar app.18 votes -
Widget Monthly View
Currently an added benefit on that I see to the Google Calendar widget and Samsung Calendar, compared to the Proton Calendar, is an array of widget display options.
Currently, Proton Calendar only allows for an agenda-style view, which just lists in sequence what is going on. But it would be helpful to see your month at a glance without actually having to click into the app. Or, like the Samsung App, it gives you a month view and an agenda view side by side.
Giving users the ability to pick a style fits their use case will improve the number…

Better month view for events
I would like the ability to see ALL my events for any given day in the MONTH view.. no, I don't care to keep clicking over to the day view.... I would like to see everything at a glance in my MONTH view without having to resize the page to an awful 50%, which is then unreadable. Thank you for your consideration. (Older person here, so yeah, stuck in my ways. LOL!) Have a great day!

Time Zone labels and intelligence
This might not be applicable in all time zones in the world, but in Canada we often use time zone labels like ET (Eastern Time), or more specifically EST (Eastern Standard Time) or EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) and in my experience these are more common than specifying GMT offset.
Figuring out what GMT offset to use can be a memory challenge, despite the inclusion of notable cities in the list. And indeed these labels/offsets shift during the year - see our contentious daylight-savings time shifts - and I wouldn't be surprised if they get other changes over time.
For those…

Add 'email attendees' button to events
As a user, I want to send an email to all of the guests of a meeting without having to laboriously re-enter all of the email addresses in my email client.
A button to "email all attendees" would be super nice.

Add more holiday calendars!
I am aware that a similar request already exists about holidays. I think that more calendars should be created and made available to suit specific user subgroups. For example; individual religious calendars to add in Bhuddist, Christian, Islamic, Jewish, and Shinto observances. Another one for bank holidays, another one for groups like UK holidays, EU holidays (US Holidays already exists), and then subgroups for individual national holidays. This would give users a wide range of flexibility without daunting complexity or the clutter and constraint of a few add-ins of large groups of holidays.

Ability to place timed events above all day entries
If there are a too many entries for a date so that some are hidden , timed events should be placed at the top because they are more critical.

iOS Week view in Landscape orientation
So, today we (finally) have a "Week View" in iOS Proton Calendar! 🎉
Thank you for adding it, appreciated.
However, the Calendar app, for whatever reason, only presents in Portrait (vertical) mode, and does not rotate to Landscape (horizontal) mode when the phone is rotated. This means that the "Week View" is really (really!) squeezed and not particularly useful.
It would be great to have:
1) the ability to use Proton Calendar in Landscape mode (for any view, but particularly in Week view); and
2) the ability to choose "Work Week" (Monday to Friday only)These are (a) something that…

Option for persistent notification pop-ups
Currently alert popups appear for a few seconds and then disappear.
Add setting to allow notification pop-ups to persist and accumulate. First one triggers at 9:00 and stays visible. Second one triggers at 9:30 and appears with the first one. Others added later as they trigger.
Act on them individually to dismiss, snooze, or edit. Also provide snooze all and dismiss all.
Whether all or individually, Snooze option offers a few standard durations, one of them a user-defined default which is editable.

Show multi-day appointments of less than 24 hours as regular appointments
Currently, an appointment from 23:00 to 1:00 the next day is shown as a mutli-day appointment in the top bar in the Android version of Proton Calendar.
To me, it is important that, when planning, I can see such appointments in the regular agenda view. This prevents me from making overlapping appointments.
Google Calendar does this by showing appointments of less than 24 hours regularly and appointments of 24 hours or more are shown in the top bar.
Also, the desktop view of Proton Calendar already has this behaviour. But the Android version does not.

Show countdown to event on calendar icon
There's a Chrome Extension for Google Calendar called "Checker Plus for Google Calendar." Among other features it places a calendar icon with the day's date in the Chrome toolbar, just like the icon on the right of the Proton Mail app. However, it also overlays a box with a countdown to the next event ("2 days," "1 day", "6 hours," "44 min," etc.)
It would be fantastic to have something like that overlayed on the Proton Calendar icon in the app. It helps me remember that I've got a thing coming up.
You can get a sense of it in…

Toggle to split desktop notifications for mail and calendar (to prioritize event notifications)
Almost everyone needs calendar notifications on their desktop/laptop, but many people don't want email notifications distracting them while they work. We need to not miss our meetings and events while also not getting distracted by emails.
Please either:
Split calendar notifications from mail notifications with a toggle for each instead of just "notifications on" or "notifications off"
Or, provide Proton Calendar as a separate desktop app

Forward calendar events
I'd like to have a way to take a specific event, or a series of events, and forward it to someone else. Similar to how Outlook does it. This person will get a calendar invite and the owner will get an email telling them their calendar invite was forwarded.

Share calendar on free plan
Wife and I are trying out Proton suite. The current purchase price is a bit high, though if we were to find ourselves really sticking with it and starting to see the value, that could change. There are just so many free alternatives, so really need to see the value first at a practical level.
The immediate issue is that we have to be able to share the calendar with each other. With that not being available in the Free sku, we likely won't continue to use Proton long enough to consider upgrading.

Diary
I would like to have a diary app that is private. While thinking about it, I realized it could be integrated into the Proton Calendar. While it is possible to use it as a diary aleady, i think it would be nice to have it a little more specialized for it with a few options. For example, there is no need to have schedules in a diary and some diary apps offer to set an emotion for each page. The date of an entry should be set automatically to the time that an entry is created. Like one can have…
