Allow the sender to "recall" an e-mail which has been sent. Either within a particular timeframe (approx. 90 seconds of hitting "send") or prior to recipient opening the message. This could save individuals from errors in previously drafted and prematurely sent messages. Having the flexibility to control this is a huge boon to other systems.

Need a feature to retract a message once it's sent or expire message after a certain time automatically.

Similar concept of Snapchat. After a determined period of time make an email/message sent unavailable or auto-delete it after it’s read, notifying the receiver. I ignore if such a thing is even possible, it would be awesome if this feature is developed and offered optionally, it would also add another layer of security to an already robust platform such as ProtonMail. Many of us aren’t comfortable with the idea that others receivers can keep our sent emails for ever. It would be kind of the same concept as a simple face to face conversation, when you can have an agreeable chat without worrying that everything that has be spoken and said will be kept recorded somewhere for ever, other than in your own human memory :)

Incase long term recall wasn't the objective here, Gmail has a great "delay send" feature that allows you to cancel an outgoing email. That would be really appreciated for ProtonMail too!

Even though the mailing idea since humans know it, doesn't work like this, but it's fine if the both users agree to willingly activate this option on their settings, so if someone request an email to be deleted from the servers it will be deleted from the inbox of anyone who activate this option. this way, we can make everyone satisfied, if someone doesn't allow you to delete your emails once he received it, it's not protonmail problem anymore. (because maybe he has his own reasons to keep it, like it's his legal right to have a copy of the mail).

Recall the secure message before the recipient logs in to pick up the message.

Even just the ability to recall/force immediate expiration of encrypted messages to Non-ProtonMail users would be nice. I can set an expiration on these, but I can't change them once it's sent, even though the encrypted content resides 100% on PM's servers.

Jake is right. This would work only if the recipient is also another protonmail user.

This would be a great feature. Having the ability to undo an already-sent email in case you sent sensitive email to the wrong person. Or your email was inaccurate. There are many reasons. But I think the limitation is that it can only be undone if the recipient is also a protonmail user, which is fine.
